I was pleasantly surprised to see that on the wall they had a top 40 UK fish and chip shop 2023 sign up, and when we brought the food home it was quite delicious. Best fish and chips I’ve had in Cardiff. Huge piece of fish, too many chips. Tartare sauce could do with work but that’s a minor nit. Highly recommended.
Worst bit of chicken I've had in ages. I asked for fried chicken and they just stuck a plain old roast chicken in the fryer. Who does that? When I expressed my concern all got was 'sorry mate' and off he went. I know it was Ramadan, but it was almost like you couldn't give a toss.

The ambiance is pleasant. Haddock was served in a generous portion and was delicious. My friend who ordered the Halibut said it was also delicious. Only criticism I have is that the bread served with the amuse-bouche could have been of higher quality.
