Held a small party for my dad’s 80th, using skittle alley and small room downstairs, due to wheelchairs. Staff went out of their way from start to finish to make sure all went smoothly and our needs were met. Food was excellent and plenty of it, more than enough to go around. Bar staff always available to serve us even through they were very busy, always polite and happy. We all had a lovely afternoon.

A reasonable selection of pub food. Really decent steak here. The cooking (medium rare) was perfect.
It wasn't of interest to me but there is a small selection of less generously sized dishes available oriented at over 60s/people without much appetite, which I haven't seen before ( Of course anyone of any age can order anything) which the older family member's I went with with small appetites took advantage of.
Sticky toffee pudding my partner had was only okay. Raspberry sorbet was better.

Jist remember that Wednesdays are football nights. Not so great for quiet chats
