Had a few pints, was in non student season - so quite to watch the rugby, which was great as I was in Cardiff to meet a friend.
Great range of drinks and discovered the two pool tables down stairs.

We booked for a large group of us, 20+, and the staff were very accommodating with our various requests. The food was ready on time and all came out together, which was fantastic. The food was good too, would definitely recommend!

my housemates and I attended a bottomless brunch to celebrate the end of the academic year. adam went above and beyond to suit our needs regarding our drinks. the food was delicious including burgers and more brunch like meals. we even played a couple rounds of connect 4 which was superb and so fun

Friendly, helpful staff. The ’Woody’ has a range of craft and real ales and an affordable food menu. The small bar can cause long queues when the pub is busier during popular televised events or hot weather. You can absolutely get an arrogant (big head) Guinness here.

I love Adam and Dylan they were so good at serving us and so many things I love them. Adam did a back flip from an elephant onto a dinosaur and it was so cool but then Dylan attacked the dinosaur before it ate Adam so he saved them.
Kate and Jed were fantastic, the best value for money brunch we’ve been to, food was amazing and they checked on us constantly making sure we had drinks and everything was okay. Already can’t wait for our next visit!
