Had a pleasurable visit to this store the ham and cheese toasty was delicious and one of the best iv had! I promise!
No crispy crust heree! Unlike another well known place
The atmosphere was very relaxed, quiet and even forgot I was there at one point
The Banoffee pie was tasty but maybe not get it again.. I was 50/50 on this
And the drink.. a mint white chocolate cooler/frappe forgot its name i lived this though but wish I said no cream though as I'm not a fan

Friendly staff. This place has a large range of coffees and teas that you can enjoy in a low key, relaxed ambiance. There are a range of snacks that you can have with your beverage. Seating is on two levels so there is plenty of room. WiFi is available but is a little inconsistent in providing actual internat access. I had to disable my WiFi to post this review.

Mostly satisfied with my visit with my best friend. After a long afternoon of shopping we went in for a coffee and a cake. The selection was wonderful and the ambience was calming. Was slightly upset that the staff has confused the order up and there was a briefly longer wait but alas the cakes and coffee were yum! Will defo recommend to anyone who’s nearby. Pricing was fair also!

Great new look upstairs in the comfort zones with new pictures and relaxed colours.
Generly a good place to while away an hour over a good cup of coffee and cake or snack.
NB On street parking restrictions for an hour or two depending on bay.

Lovely cozy coffee shop, has plenty of armchairs and sofas, and a very quiet and nice upstairs area. FOR NON-DAIRY PROPLE THEY HAVE UNSWEETENED SOYA MILK which I rarely find and really appreciated

The coffee is absolutely superb, the ideal spot to relax with a good book or crack on with some work. The chairs are ridiculously comfortable, amazing place to unwind. The staff are friendly. The food is hit or miss and overpriced, but as a coffee shop you can’t do much better!

We have just visited the Sutton Coldfield Branch, and I can’t tell you how disappointed we were.
All the tables were dirty, nothing had been cleared or cleaned away.
we queued up to place our order for 20 minuets extremely hard with two young children.
I had to pay an extra 80p to add cream onto my children’s baby choc (which I personally think is disgusting) especially when my bill was £33.00 already.
Food was ok but very limited choice also had run out of a lot of stuff - as for the drinks well ....they were cold and the added Syrup was just sat at the bottom of the cups.
While I’m sitting here writing this people are just walking out because they have to wait too long!!
Definitely not worth a visit- we will not be coming back- we suggest it’s best to stick with Costa and Starbucks.

Need a coffee#1 in Caerphilly please!!!! Lol used to live in chepstow and worked in the one in Chepstow many years ago and I miss the coffee and cakes and friendly staff that you always employ in coffee#1s!
Visited the Newport branch the other day and everyone was lovely and the service was spot on

My 2nd visit today, stood at the counter for 3-4 minutes and was ignored by the 2 staff members stuff a couple of away. I would not have minded but I was the only person at the counter. Yesterday wasn't much better, I liked the idea of my order being brought over to my table however the staff member spilt my coffee on the floor and the table I was sat at. He made a joke and did not return to clean up his mess. The floor was still had the puddle of coffee when I left 45 minutes later

We have visited at least a dozen branches of Coffee #1 over the last few years and we’ve always found the staff to be friendly, efficient and calm, however busy things are.... but we really have to commend and congratulate the two who have manned the Leamington Spa branch this morning and dealt so well with the New Year’s day crowd... one of the valiant two apparently coped on her own from 10 till 11...but the quality of the service and the coffee was as great as ever.. as I write this, reinforcements have just arrived...
Just wanted to say thanks to this great team for making sure we could get our New Year’s Day top quality coffee .. all in what we have found to be the spirit of Coffee #1....

At times it can be really tough being a parent with a child suffering with coeliac disease. Especially when he loves cake. The only place locally where he is spoilt for choice with a selection of 7 different gluten free cakes to chose from. Along with them all being on the same shelf. Well done coffee#1 at Carmarthen

If they would only fix the door closure this would be the best cafe in Southbourne. Staff delightful. Really relaxed ... but VERY cold!

A bit uncomfortable coming into the store today. A bit of animosity between the Staff boy o boy what an atmosphere

I have to say, i have been using your coffee shops across the cotswolds intermittantly over the last few years and in Cirencester, i hav3 been in there 3 or 4 time in the last 2 years. Always around 8am, and each and every time the service has been so poor that it sends me back to costa. Its a shame, but the staff always seem miserable, never show any engagement and make you feel like your an inconvienience. I certainly will never be back now having given it more than one chance already.

Rude staff with no thought to Customer’s feelings ! I’m telling everyone I know what happened when I went in for a takeaway coffee and being local it with never get my money in there tills
Dave Griffiths
I often visit Coffee#1, usually the Whitchurch Cardiff branch and The Friary in Cardiff city centre. The coffee is always good. I've started having decaffeinated coffee lately and that tastes just as good. I've also used the Swansea branch several times and have found that to be good too.

So Dad has a large shard of plastic in his cheesecake, barely an apology and given a £10 voucher by head Office, pathetic!!
Good job it wasn’t a child who could easily have choked and died on it!!
Typical National chain, take no responsibility and just pass the buck!!
Sophie Le Reste
Love the Coffee there, great quality! bit too pricey though and never been a fan of their food selection (especially on GF available options)
