As a coffee snob there is no better place than social eats. I love my coffee, and travelled to Colombia to understand the coffee bean process. So trust me when I say this place is the best! From the friendly staff( to the quality coffee bean and tasty breki/lunch options. I just wished they open longer!

It's a cozy spot, popular with students, and I had a fantastic time. I enjoyed a delicious smoothie bowl and a cup of Americano, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Lovely decor and atmosphere. Relaxed studenty venue but as an “oldie” it was great. I had the bacon brekkie which was phenomenal. Staff friendly and service excellent. I’d recommend if you’re in the area

Went for brunch had a lovely cappuccino. My carrot cake I had was sadly very dry but still edible. Staff was friendly and efficient and seating and Ambience was nice. The only reason this little cafe gets a 4 star is because of Cleanliness as there was old food on the floor that's was evidently there for a while.

Lovely little place this. Greeted pleasantly on arrival, even though, with the weather, I looked like a sad, wet dog. Ordered an americano, which came out promtly and, I can say, was delightful. Complex, nutty and warming with a gentle acidity. It even came on a little wooden board, which, while a little silly, made it feel a bit special. Simple things, I guess. (The barista offered to add sugar for me too, which was nice.) I then ordered a Bacon Brekkie Bagel, which, again, came out sharpish. Presented delightfully with a little 'social eats' logo shaped splodge of balsamic glaze. The bagel promtly disappeared in about 3 minutes. The guac and rocket added freshness and bite, the bacon added a nice salty kick, and the egg was perfectly cooked and had a sprinkle of chilli flakes on, for warmth. A nice touch. Overall, for £11.50, a nice little lunch stop off, and I'll definitely come back. Only dropped a star for the atmosphere as the other guests were all quite pretentiosly eating their bagels with cutlery. Come on, man, it's hand food. Eat with ya damn hands!

Most flavoursome breakfast I've had in Cardiff - Avocado, Vine Tomatoes with poached eggs. Absolutely delicious.
