Rhostio Speciality Coffee - Cardiff - Photo album

As a regular who’s come here almost every week for 2 years, I can say that this is easily my favourite place in Cardiff! They have very knowledgeable and passionate (not to mention kind, friendly and hilarious) staff. The interior design is immaculate and the atmosphere is always perfect! They also
Such a great atmosphere and I love the staff !! Lovely service and people. However I feel that the no laptop and WiFi rules and 90 min maximum stay is a bit harsh. Love the inside though what a great vibe! On the pricier side.
Coffee rates highly! Not so much the experience. Somehow feels quite industrial inside, WiFi took an age to get working, and I can never quite relax when they've said you'll be asked to leave after a certain length of time. Plugs available. Big open space which is a plus.
Don't know how many times I visited this shop but I am pretty sure The Dirty CHAI is my fav hot drink in my life so far, so creamy and nicely flavoured.
One of my favourite coffee shops in Cardiff. Always great service, and a great flat white.
The place is very good to focus spend time for meeting with friends. Also delicious coffee and atmosphere. Very kind service staff. Highly recommended.
Came here spontaneously, as we stumbled across Rhostio on a rainy morning walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the coffee was sublime.
Overall 7/10 Vibe 8/10 Coffee 7/10 Value 5/10 Service 7/10 Lovely outdoor space on the rooftop, inside seems great for working from. Coffee was decent, wouldn't mind having it again. Staff are friendly. A bit expensive at £8.50 for 2 coffees, even though they were not the standard beans and we had
Great cafe with a nice vibe and super chairs! Lives the food and drinks too. Brilliant coffee of course and the sour dough toasties were delicious! Poached eggs and jacket potatoes were also amazing.
Love it here, it's a stylish co-working space in the daytime and then there's a fantastic programme of events in the evenings. Plus the roof is such a great bonus. Look out for the artisan ice cubes!
Really refreshing location! We’ve been here for celebrating 🥳 my husband and gather with friends. People are enjoying here as it’s friendly atmosphere mainly young people studying and chill out. Plenty of options not just coffee but surprisingly beers or beverages. We haven’t ordered food but sweet
A lovely, well presented space offering delicious coffees and other drinks. Beautiful building, inside and out. A speciality coffee shop that is reflected in the prices of the drinks. Would recommend the coffee, looking forward to trying the food :)
Lovely venue, charming and courteous staff but they are young and some lacked experience and were a bit flustered. That's fine, but my meal arrived seven minutes after my colleagues which was awkward. The food was fine so I'd suggest just asking them to make sure your order comes together and to hot
Beautiful mocha and hot chocolate well presented! Helpful staff and will bring your drink/food to your table. Only 4 stars as I thought it was moderately expensive for a coffee shop (£3.20 for hot chocolate / £3.60 for a mocha).
Definitely worth a visit. One of the best coffee houses in South Wales & especially Cardiff . However you like your coffee they have it covered - brewed in many methods for your perfect cup. Nice setting, great staff and awesome coffees, and can’t forget delicious cakes ☺️
The cold brew lemonade is a game changer. Flat white was a nice coffee too. Would of been nice to have had a selection of cake or snacks. None were on offer as it was the day before the delivery.
