This is a proper hidden gem and deserves to have people queuing out of the door! The discreet front door and sign opens into a warmly decorated cafe area serving breakfast and lunches. The very friendly owner explained that they also do an evening curry club on prearranged evenings, and we will absolutely be back for this, as well for more breakfasts and lunches. The food was wonderful and Maasi’s is a superb and different addition to Cardiff’s existing excellent cafe culture and range of options.

Authentic and delicious Pakistani food. We had the stuffed parathas which were 👌🏽. Hoping this will be a regular haunt for us. 🐶 friendly too.

Absolutely loved the food and experience! Me and my family just moved from England to wales and we’re looking for a Pakistani/Indian breakfast place and Maasis came up the reviews and photos look really good so we decided to go for breakfast/brunch. First off the customer service was brilliant staff are so friendly and the outside is very cute and chic. The food was cooked perfectly and that sounds odd but nothing was undercooked or over cooked even the sausage and egg was perfect the whites down to the yolk. My husband has a naandwich which he said was delicious looked nice and sauces to me too! Will definitely be bringing other family members back with me. The owner was super friendly and even gave us a sample of pakore to try tasted amazing too ! Can’t wait to go back.

Tried the aloo and lamb kheema parathas here for breakfast and they were pretty good (aloo was better) It was served with pickle and curd so definitely had that desi touch. The tea was a let down though.

A great family style experience at Maasis, from the hospitality to the service , it was 5*. Fresh food and good vibes. We came as a big group and was difficult to accommodate but they managed so easily for us. Would recommend this to everybody 👌
