What a lovely place to eat or drink, Staff were very courteous + friendly & smiled, good to see team enjoying themselves, lovely decor - clean and tidy venue - loved the open plan kitchen / cooking area, was made to feel welcome and enjoyed my visit - beer garden is also very nice I'd highly recommend you visit - wide range of drinks and food on offer at reasonable prices - Toilets also very clean and fresh

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff are also really friendly... you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority! Food is pretty good and a special mention to Jess, as she went above and beyond to ensure my daughter had plenty of choice (despite dietry requirements) - I could not recommend this place enough, especially for their prices it’s 100% worth it. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely pub, the friendly staff made us feel very welcome and we had a great time! Food was excellent and served promptly. The toilets were clean and easily accessible. Nice beer garden too! Thank you! Will be visiting again soon!

Been going to the Railway over 10 years usually Saturday evenings. Nice pub with friendly landlord and helpful staff. One moan - removed jukebox a few months ago (which is fair enough) but now seem to play generic sounding music. Usually don't recognise any songs played - feel more varied music would improve atmosphere.

Only in town for the day. One of the locals recommended us to The Railway, and we were not disappointed. Lovely warm welcome some excellent pints of bitter. Dog Friendly, decent food. Spotless toilets

My favourite nostalgic local hideout had my ups and downs here, staff and landlord always fantastic, chefs are great and always present a homely feel, if I'd to visit with a friend I'd always take them down the tracks to the railway

Best beer garden in Penarth! Really good value for money, food is great, staff are fun! And has a good mix of bar games like pool/skittles/darts ect and also one of the best places for sports and a dance after.
