A lovely find when staying close by.
We booked a few days before our visit and we're a group of around 12 of us.
We visited on a Sunday and the Roast dinners were enjoyed by all of us. Great service. Very small in there so definitely prebook if needed extra space for a wheel chair or pram etc.

Nice old pub, quite a way off the beaten track, so much so that there's no WiFi and no 4G signal! A very pleasant midweek evening in June, so we sat outside, but not really very busy. First time visiting the Cottage Of Content the staff was very very lovely.
We didn't book a table so we had to sit outside plus on the menu most of what we wanted was finish and we basically had to settle for what was on the menu.
Overall it was ok.
