We went for drinks and had a lovey time in the courtyard garden. Downstairs beautifully decorated but as it was a lovely day nice to be outside.
Just popped in for a drink on our way home, definitely going back again 🥂🍻

With the new addition of Monty's Cocktail Bar, The Lane is a stand-out place that I would recommend to anyone. Brilliant hosts, drinks and atmosphere. It's the only place in the city to have a dedicated VIP room, Cocktail bar and spacious walled garden. A hidden gem in the city!
Amazing find. Brilliant staff. Quirky building inside and out. Cocktails to die for. Can’t wait for the food. Cracking afternoon was spent on Saturday.

Great south facing sheltered garden for the sun lovers and a cool snug cellar for those days when the sun is not out.
Great selection of cocktails, Nick the barman really knows his stuff; his suggestion for a friend who couldn't make up her mind was spot on!
If you want the best drinks in Carlisle visit Cameron at the lane bar. Try a Long Lane Iced Tea and get your socks blown off. Also excellent ambiance and friendly staff.
Very small but excellent use of space to make a number of different areas and barstaff were great laugh.
Also great choice of drinks with staff who know what they are talking about.

Nice atmosphere and very nice facilities,I find the cocktails to be a little pricey but they are of a good quality. It's nice to come here when it's hot outside and sit in the beer garden bit

A nice little warren of rooms to drink in. Mind your head if your tall though. Plenty of cocktails, special drink board. Only one lager on draft no beer. Well worth a visit
