The Mango Tree - Carlisle - Photo album

Simply the best Indian restaurant and takeaway I have ever tasted. We just need to try everything on the menu. The staff are friendly and efficient. Sometimes the food can take an hour to arrive when takeaway ordered but they always tell you and it’s always well worth the wait. I have never been dis
We are fortunate to live near to the Mango Tree and regularly enjoy a takeaway from them, as well as occasionally dining in. Last night was one of those occasions. Although quiet with only 10 dining, we enjoyed the atmosphere. We chose from the October Special menu and especially enjoyed the mamun c
A very enjoyable meal. The staff were very helpful and polite. The menu was very informative with plenty of choices. The prices were very reasonable. The food was cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend this restaurant, it's well worth a visit.
Indian food is absolutely superb; however, not keen on the cats that are lounging on the sofas when you walk in. They didn't come into the restaurant but there is nothing stopping them wandering through as there are no doors to separate the areas. Food is definitely worth it though.
Lush food, excellent pleasant service. We dropped in on the off chance without a booking on a busy night and had a great time. Very good onion bajis! If you don't like live cats, take care, they free roam. We loved it.
Eaten here a few times now. Really tasty food from a fairly extensive menu. Welcoming and friendly staff and nicely decorated interior. Recommend giving it a go. You won't be disappointed!
Good atmosphere Great service Great food Was busy but honestly the food was worth the wait! The staff were great and friendly. My favourite bit other than the food were the cats in the other area
We visit here quite often for either takeaway or a sit in meal. On this occasion we sat in and as usual we were not disappointed. If you like Indian and are passing by,pop in and try for yourself. I think you'll enjoy it.
Can't put in one bad word the food is always amazing take out or sit in staff are funny been here many times before and travel an hour to get there even though there's a Indian 5 minutes away I love how they have cats in the waiting area that don't bother you at you're table can't wait to visit agai
