Stopped here while shopping. The muffin was bloody incredible 🤤 Dog friendly, although we didn't have our dogs with us.
I now often meet friends for coffee and cake or a scone here. I've made full use of my loyalty card app and very much enjoyed the complimentary birthday muffin 😍
It's reasonably priced and you are never hurried to leave. Friendly and helpful staff who are patient when placing your order.
I'm a new customer here and so far have only experienced the takeaway offer. I have to say that the cheese scones and fudge brownies are amazing and dangerously moreish. The staff are wonderful, polite and helpful. I look forward to sitting-in in future.

Nice setting, food was nice. Staff seemed to pick and choose who they helped choose food. Happy to go back though as prices were decent.
Didn't eat here. Had a coffee, which was quite expensive, but nice. The lounge area with sofas is very relaxing and cosy. Staff are a bit indifferent.

It was my birthday, and as part of the journey to my final destination of Edinburgh, the coached stopped at the lovely city of Carlisle. After walking around for an hour I decided I needed to find somewhere to have a slice of cake, and having passed Muffin Break a few times on my walk, more specifically the mouthwatering pictures of milkshakes displayed outside, I decided to see what else was on offer. After a few minutes deciding between all the freshly made goods, from sandwiches, wraps, cakes and muffins, I decided on a banana milkshake with whipped cream and a toffee nut muffin. It was delicious and worth the calories. Thanks for helping me enjoy my day out on my birthday.
Nice! Very good cafe with a wide selection of snacks, cakes and various teas and coffees. Not expensive and with really friendly and helpful staff. Best place in 'THE LANES' to stop for a break.
This place is amazing 🤩 best scones ever!! Looks small as you go past but it's huge inside, staff are so polite and lovely, prices are reasonable, I'm definitely going back and highly recommend, took me years to find a scone where you take a bite sit back and enjoy. My partner got muffin really enjoyed, place is amazing 👏
