Was in Carlisle for a few nights and on my first morning was looking for a coffee shop. Went search for one on Google to check if there were any open at 8 AM. 3rd one down, underneath all the known ones (which I avoid whilst on holiday as I like trying new places), was Espresso Hub. First review said they have the best coffee and my instinct was “oh c’mon, is just coffee”. God I was wrong! Ordered a hazelnut latte and on my first sip, my eyebrows shot up! Sooo good! The coffee is to die for! Smooth, tasty and delicious. Definitely the best coffee I have tasted so far. Call me old fashioned, but I am also a believer of the fact that good customer service improves one’s experience, and this place has plenty of it.
We enjoyed our breakfast here! Dog friendly, they brought a water bowl for our dogs. Nice seating area outside, lovely staff and good food 👍😊
Great food, delicious cakes and really good coffee. Lovely setting and wonderful service. I've been a few times recently and the staff have always been really welcoming. They even found a birthday candle to put in a cake when we were celebrating a birthday, thank you! Would definitely recommend :)
I was going to walk by, but the manager suggested that I give them a try, the Full English was cooked almost to perfection, and they even swapped the eggs to scrambled for me and was well presented and (completely) hot - sadly, not all cafes in the city can manage this simple task... the staff were warm, friendly, and proactive, all-in-all a wonderful experience, slightly on the expensive side compared to other cafes I usually frequent, but can't knock the quality of food presented - worth it? Yes absolutely, give them a try..
Lovely snug cafe in the centre of the city shopping area. Outside seating but also dog friendly inside. Very warm welcome from the staff. Coffee and food was very good and all very reasonably priced.
Delicious coffee and cakes. Breakfast looked amazing though we never had anything to eat other than cake. Very reasonable place.

Lovely dog friendly café. Staff are always very pleasant and the coffee and cakes are excellent! I always go here when staying in Carlisle.
What a lovely cafe espresso hub is … perfectly situated in the town great seating outside to have a drink and something to eat .. food was delicious and very well presented and they cook in a tiny hot kitchen . coffee was some of the best I’ve ever drank and the staff here are amazing very friendly very attentive . The manager is great she seems to know everyone and treats them like friends can’t wait to go back again Thankyou everyone
Lovely place with very friendly, polite staff, breakfasts are beautiful, the coffees are out of this world and they're dog friendly. Will definitely make a point of coming back the next time I'm in Carlisle
