Absolutely gorgeous Yorkshire Dales pub. Full of character. Easy parking. The food is home cooked and delicious. Really good value as well. Great local beers on tap. I’ve eaten here multiple times and will continue to do so. One of my favourite pubs!
Had dinner last night and 3 of us had steak pie - WOW, the suet crust with herbs was a lovely twist and the steak tender and gravy yummy 😋, one had chicken skewers which looked delicious too. Unplanned - but because of the good company, good food, good drinks and great atmosphere ended up staying ov
I have to say the Steak & Ale pie from here has now gone to the number 1 position. It’s quite simply the best I have ever had !! Highly, highly recommended. The location is stunning. Well worth a lovely drive/ ride out. I will definitely be going back again very soon. Simon
It's the perfect place to switch off!! great food. Great service 100%will be back. Thank you so much for a very relaxing stay. Hudson loved his dog takeaway. Thanks again. See you soon, Jan David and Hudson 🥰
Had a lovely meal; the landlady accommodated the four of us and two dogs in the traditionally beamed bar and served up some delicious pub meals with my favourite chippy style chips. A good selection of well kept local ales with a friendly welcome.
Great little community pub with a good selection of well kept ale, when I was there they were slightly overrun and my fish was over cooked bit generally the food seemed very good. Great atmosphere and well rum.
Absolutely delicious pub food. The pastry on the beef pie was so unique. Presentation and service 10/10
Had a lovely stay. Great food in the evening you can eat in the bar or restaurant. Tasty breakfast. Friendly staff. A real gem
Paul and Diana were welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely three night break. Nice atmosphere in the pub and the room was great.
We visited on 20th May, all 3 had different meals and we all loved the food. Would definitely recommend and when next in the area we will return. Staff all friendly. Great pub.
Lovely owners with food sooo good. Had a lovely couple of nights in the pub. Nothing was too much trouble.
A nice village pub with good food in generous portions, beer is varied and well kept, the black sheep ale is recommended. Hosts are friendly and welcoming and the crowd seemed quite friendly. Lovely location and a lovely little pub to match.
Family of 4 just visited for evening meal.. friendly welcome and we all enjoyed our meals, I had the skewers which were delicious 😋. Thoroughly recommend this pub for food ales and relaxed friendly feeling.
Nice little village pub, run by the community. Good food and service, but phone first to make sure they've got staff.
Good food and drink selection, bit expensive but understandable for the location. Friendly staff, very accomodating pub, would recommend
Just popped in for a pint and received a nice warm welcome on arrival, the pub was very clean and the pint of Madri was perfect.
