Great location. Friendly staff and welcome on arrival. 20 mins from Aviemore and 5 mins from landmark adventure park. Cabins are a bit dated, but they are clean. Looks like new kitchen and bathroom was installed. We paid £166 for 2 nights which is good value for money. We could have had up to 6 peop
The resort staff were so friendly. The cabins were spotlessly clean. But, the overall resort needs the parent company to step up and make capital improvements. As in, the big money investments. There’s a bridge that’s obviously been closed for a while. It makes the guests walk twice as far to get to
My girlfriend decided to change the accommodation last minute... and I'm more than happy that she did. The cabin is lovely, well equipped and very comfy, the view is great and the ducks are charming to chat too.... my girlfriend thinks I'm mad but I don't care
Beautiful location, peaceful, just loved it.
The staff was not helpful, no response at all, kitchen was unclean and the toilet flush didn’t work.
Loved the place. Close to day activities and the woodlands are beautiful 😍 Didn't want to come back but didn't have more holidays nor money 🤣 There's no dishwasher btw.
A fantastic spot to enjoy a very peaceful secluded break. The staff are friendly and professional, the lodges are clean, roomy and warm and the overall experience is well worth a visit. As a family we all loved it. In fact we are already planning a return visit. Particularly enjoyed the morning parad
Loved our last minute getaway here, lovely location and super friendly staff.
We stayed in number 43 and it was blissfully peaceful with gorgeous woodlands out the back.
Only down side was the very lumpy and hard beds in our cabin, we ended up piling up the spare blankets and duvets on our mattress

Incredible Resort ! A total immersion in nature, a super charming chalet! The staff of the resort is very attentive and nice ! I highly recommend to spend a weekend or a week there! Thank you very much to Gregore for his kindness and help during our stay !
Wonderful location and excellent facilities for a great family break. Slightly tired decor in the lodge bedrooms but the kitchen and bathroom are modern and we'll equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful and plenty to do on site, although bar and restaurant on site weren't open. With Carrbridge
Stayed here in Summer 2021. The accommodation is very simple but it is a great Scottish experience! The landscape is stunning and ducks come right up to the doors of the room which is very sweet. Location is good for hiking and wild swimming.
Macdonald Locanhully Resort was absolutely magnificent. The resort is situated near I'm a forest which provides clean and refreshing air. Often, the woodland animals come out and explore the resort. The lodges have a good view of the area and have adequate heating for when the temperature drops. Ac
Lovely place to stay as a base for exploring The Cairngorms. The lochan is great for short dog walks and the resort is ideally placed for trips to Inverness and Aviemore. The rooms were all clean and had good storage for everything we needed. The kitchen was fairly well equipped allowing us to do a
Lovely tranquil place. Very peaceful. Cabins are a little dated which I loved. Not the cheapest of locations but well worth the price. On-site restaurant was closed but Carrbridge and Avimore are only a short drive away.
