Loving going in for my almost daily tea, my husband is obsessed with their cappuccino but lately (even in this weather) he's getting their smoothies. Friendly staff, we go in and we don't even have to order anymore, they know what we order. Everything about Costa feels like home, you're allowed to enjoy yourself and I'm just glad they actually serve tea. I don't like coffee but I highly recommend the caramel cortado, I put in plenty of sweetener to sweeten the deal, that probably helped, my husband said it tasted like a cake 😉.
The carrot cake is very nice, the cookies are amazing, the blueberry muffin was the best I've every had, so soft, moist and sweet, the cinnamon brioche bun is just the cinnamon swirl you deserve and a chocolate a caramel bun I had was a little dry on the outside but overall incredibly tasty.
PS brownie is lovely and gooey and the millionaire's shortbread is messing but exactly as I remember from my childhood.
Once a month I meet up with my friends who have retired for a coffee and a chat. It's a good place to do it, always somewhere to sit.
Don't eat here as prices are very high, Coffee is good price and staff are always ready to serve and very polite

The ladies are always so helpful, kind and understanding. I have medical issues and my wife has just had a shoulder operation. They go out of their way to make our pitstop or my drawing mornings as easy as possible.

I had a private issue and they couldn't have been more helpful if I could give them an award I would do..I was already a happy customer of this wonderful coffee shop and even more so now** thank you so so much 😊
Lovely Costa. When we are in the area we always pop by and family visit us there as it's their favourite place in Carterton too - it's never too busy or loud and just a perfect place to catch up with people, do a bit of work or just relax!

Staff were friendly - however they got my order wrong, which I didn't discover until I was driving home!
Definitely one of the nicest Costas I have been in, great service very friendly staff although the older female manager always looks grumpy. But the rest of the team great. Always a nice relaxed atmosphere with good quality coffee and tea.
The seating area is relatively clean, as you'd expect from a regularly rotating diner really. I only use the term diner because of the meals section, toasted or heated by the Barista staff. The sandwiches and tortillas are good, but the coffee of course is the truly great thing about this place. Recommended.
