East Side Delicatessen & Coffee Shop - Caterham - Photo album

I’ve been living in the area for 3 years and always drove past it without noticing it much, but we finally managed to go there (been there twice now) and had a really good breakfast both times. Good quality ingredients and very good coffee too. I highly recommend it and I’ll def be back.
With the abundance of commercialised coffee shops in Caterham, it's so nice to visit somewhere a little different and unique in the local area. The food is superb and all locally sourced, coffee is nice and smooth and not bitter, and you can genuinely see that the owners take real pride in their bus
A fantastic family-run snug that feels more like a shared living room than a café. The food is excellent, fresh and locally-sourced, with the menu telling you a little bit about just about every ingredient they use. The staff/owners are friendly, funny but also very polite and will happily either h
Such a great place to stop for lunch, this visit I tried the new E&T (Espresso, vanilla syrup, lemon peal topped with tonic water) it's was delicious. Always a warm welcome, great atmosphere and all my favourite cheeses! 😁
So my story started about 3 weeks ago - I had to buy some lunch for the wife and I, before going on holiday the next day. We were up on the hill and I popped into a bakery but couldn’t find anything I wanted. So I remember driving passed East Side everyday on my way to work. Always wanting to try it
Dropped by for a special Toffee Swirl Hot Chocolate. Nice little cafe!
Local produce and fresh ingredients used, supporting british farmers, eco conscious, warm and friendly, great smoothies using fresh ingredients and clean eating. Great community feel and Deliscious food.
I recently enjoyed lunch with friends at East Side. My salad was delicious with a huge amount of really lovely mozzarella. I was most envious of my friend's panini, which looked so good, but I can't eat for dietary reasons, and I have to say the decaf coffee here is the best I've ever tasted. There'
Consistently excellent coffee and grub. A genuine step-up in quality for Caterham which hopefully inspires more of the same from other independent businesses in the area
Whilst the only seating is outside, the weather today was dry and not too chilly, and as ever Mark was on form with his banter and friendly attitude. It's always a pleasure to support an important local business, especially one that supported the community through recent difficulties
I’ve been visiting a lot this year at the weekends. Formerly a cafe, it’s now a full on deli serving great food. Owners Julie and Mark are super friendly and this is a brilliant community shop. I particularly like their Lancashire bomb cheese and their quiches.
Wow, At a loose end waiting for a MOT and decided to take a walk.I've been passing East Side for years in the car and have never visited so I decided to go in. A warm welcome was received and my coffee was great. A very nice friendly atmosphere and a great variety of refreshments are available. A
A family run farm shop that we discovered quite randomly but now have been there so many times. The owners are very friendly, helpful people. We love the breads, different flavoured oils.
What a lovely cafe! My husband and I had breakfast there recently and were welcomed by the friendly owners and served delicious food. The pancake stacks are immense! I have recommended this to lots of friends, and I’ll be returning with some as soon as I get another day off!! x
Love this place, each time i visit UK i come here, such a big range of lovely fresh foods, gifts, and nothing is too much trouble. Brilliant!!
This place has a wonderful mix of foods and products, a deli which wouldn't be out of place in Soho. Has everything from homemade wooden trugs, French camembert logoed serving plates oven gloves with bee motifs, garden planters in galvanised iron. A host of hampers etc etc..
Beautiful coffee and I’m so happy that oat milk was an option! This deli caters for everyone. I enjoyed a very tasty brunch today. I have some lemon and courgette cake to go...looking forward to it as a fellow customer recommended it to me : )
Love getting a coffee here and looking at their produce. I've purchased tasty, locally sourced Olive bread, meat pies and ginger wine. Their cakes are yummy to 😊
