Review Hungry Horse - Catterick

Highly recommend The Foxglove in Catterick their Korean BBQ burger is absolutely amazing the "Best burger" we have had in a very long time. The Gravy one was also great and very tasty but hands down the Korean burger is incredible. We shared the ultimate big Candymania and left totally full. All the staff were fantastic friendly and extremely polite. We will be back. Excellent service and food

I was made really welcome and had my order taken by Amber! Luke made my delicious steak and peppercorn sauce, perfectly cooked medium rare. Mark brought me my dinner and checked all was great. They all made for a lovely evening meal asI was here for work. Thanks for cheering up my day, looking forward to coming back 😀

Brought our Bruce (Labrador) to the foxglove today. He was more than happy with the detour on his afternoon walk as he was welcomed in to the pub. He got lots of loves and cuddles from the staff and he will certainly be coming back for more (a few pints for us too of course). Highly recommend the foxglove for a few drinks.

I was made very welcome by Amber and Luke. Luke cooked a wonderful steak and Peppercorn sauce. It was delicious.

Mark who served us was amazing. Polite friendly and full of smiles and life! Happy to oblige and answer questions. Food was lovely, although one item was missed it was quickly rectified and I have no complaint about it. The only reason the atmosphere has a less star is the fact it would be nice to maybe have a quiet area for those of us with sensory issues (I'm autistic and struggle with noise especially when there's a lot of screaming children around). Will be back though as its a lovely place and special thanks to Mark for looking after us.

Was very satisfied with the food and the staff at the foxglove, mark fisher was the most welcoming staff I met and was funny. Made us all have a laugh!! Food was amazing. I ordered a bbq burger and salt and pepper fries. Again was amazing and would come again!!

We had Mark serve us today. He was exceptionally polite, cheery and very helpful with our order. One of the best waiters I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be back.

Been coming to foxglove for years. Sometimes with my children for lunch.sometimes with friends for a meal or drinks. Never had a problem

Lovely atmosphere, with a great vibe. Staff are friendly and helpful. We were served by Mark who went above and beyond from us walking in the door. What an absolutely lovely member of staff who really put a smile on our faces :) thank you

A great bar/grill, friendly staff and a decent choice of food options. Good for families on a budget as lot of special offers and daily deals.. you won't peave hungry. The bar has a decent selection of drinks too. I visited here twice during my time in the area and would definitely go back there. Have to give a big thank you to the staff for being so accommodating too. Recommend.

Just went fit a quick burger and a beer. Nice surprise on arrival, 2 for 1 on the burgers. Tasted good. beer was nice. Will go again for the same.

Great service. From the moment I accidentally ordered the wrong item! Also they had run put of curry sauce so offered us alternatives!! Very polite staff, coming to check on two occasions of everything was okay. Helped us package excess food to take gome as we had clearly ordered too much.

Amazing experience! Mark was a total wonder - consummate professional, friendly and kind - checked in with us to see if food was ok and just overall a jolly good egg. The food was cracking and reasonably priced. Thankyou for the memories - they are lovely! And if any bosses at Hungry Horse read this - give Mark a pay rise - he is worth every penny and more - a total asset to your team!

Feel there must have been a change in management. So much better than previous visits. Excellent experience today. Food delivered within 10 minutes, cooked to perfection. Staff very pleasant and professional.

Stayed in the premier inn, when working away near this pub, I’m from Essex and work London regularly all i can say is a lot of venues where i work, could learn a thing or two about service all staff are polite efficient and food was spot on every time highly recommend the wings £5.29 for ten, or 30 for £12.00 so tasty spot on, deals each night of the week great prices but spot on food 👌even when i had the curry deal (Wednesdays) that didn’t show on app when ordering for drink included with the deal only had To speak to manager and he dealt with the issue in a most professional manner. If you stay near this pub be silly not to sample the food and service 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

Came in for quiz night and a bite to eat. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening, the food was lovely, and the staff were amazing. The manager, Luke, made us feel so welcome and we'll definitely be back.

We had a really lovely time with my family (a very happy Grandma to be out and about). The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. We can’t wait to come back!

The usually no bar staff , then one turned up for a queue of about 6 people so long wait to be served , hubby had large mixed grill which was ok for money and was warm , my fish and 6 chips , chips stone cold and mushy peas cold , puddings fine , the lad that was waiter was very friendly , this place doesn't get any better �it wouldn't bother me if I never went in the place again , but hubby likes the mixed grill �

First time going and won't be again. The drinks order was incorrect, we ordered 5 dishes, the two kids meals were incorrect. Fish fingers rice and beans (never had rice come with sweet corn and carrots, asked for plain rice but apparently that's how it comes! 2nd kids dish we ordered hotdog chips and veg sticks we got jacket potato. Had to ask for more cutlery as only 4 of everything. Not one member of staff asked how our meal was otherwise I would have told them. Definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Staff very polite and food was out of this world would recommend it to anyone, a very good night with Fire Brigade friends who I worked with even thinking of having our Christmas meal at The FOXGLOVES because the staff was very friendly, thanks again for a excellent night..............

I've had so much better food cheaper. Had steak chips mushrooms tomato and peas. Small portion for £10.99 chips weren't cooked properly, one very small mushroom and they couldn't even cook the steak. Will never go back... even if it was free food, I think you should be ashamed of yourselves ripping off our servicemen/women and their families .

Firstly let me start by saying myself and my friends are not the type to ever make a fuss. We arrived tonight for 2 sisters joint baby shower. We started off by going to the bar (service was quite slow) but eventually we all ordered our food and drinks. There was a table of 8..5 of us got our meals in reasonable time. Whilst everyone started their meals, 3 from our party were left waiting. We got the attention of 2 of the staff and told them our problem. By this point (45 MINUTES LATER!) everyone had finished their meals. 2 from the party had ordered steak and onion rings. The 'Sizzling' steak came out stone cold- so cold in fact a skin had formed on top of the sauce. We again got the attention of one of the staff and said we were unhappy. She took the food away and brought out onion rings (which were supposed to be a starter). These were also cold. Unsatisfied with this we asked if we could speak to the manager. 10 minutes later.. We were greeted by a very abrupt and rude 'manager'. We relayed our complaints to him. Instead of appologising for our disastrous meal, he tried to make several excuses and said it can all get a bit 'confusing' sometimes in the kitchen. We then asked for this 'managers' name (as he was not wearing a name badge) . He told us his name was Luke. When we asked for his second name, he totally refused to give us it. By this point, everyone at our table was becoming more and more annoyed. We demanded refunds. By far this is the worst place i have ever eaten. So Unorganised and the staff really dont care about customer welfare.

Came in tonight with a group of 6, food was lovely and service with a smile. Conor who brought the food to the table couldn’t do enough to make sure the food was okay and that we all were happy. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon!

Great place to eat for families & priced accordingly. Good choices on the menu & plenty of options on the beverage side of things. Food is what you would expect for this sort of eating place & arrived quite quickly. The staff on duty the day we came were excellent & very helpful considering we had a disabled child with us. Nothing was too much trouble.

Food slow to arrive. Son-in-law got garden peas on his but he asked for mushy peas. I got mushy peas and asked for garden peas. Had to ask if our meal was ready as we had waited 40 mins. Have to admit the guy who brought our food did apologise though. Don't think I'd bother again

Not been since it first opened when food was so bad I received a full refund. Today however was a complete different experience, friendly staff, quick service and gorgeous food. Well done, we will be back.

Went for a family of 7 Sunday lunch gathering. Food and service excellent. Many thanks to Keri, Kevin and Connor front of house. Also extended thanks to the kitchen staff for our 7 different main meals which arrived promptly and were delicious. Most definitely recommend

I arrived aporox 7pm for our table booking for 10. Table 40-41-42. We were told there would be a 40 min wait for food which was fine . thats why i booked the table early. After 40mins are food arrived.. Yum yum We had to request new cutlery as ours was dirty. I had to wipe down my own table as it was greasy and not cleaned properly. It was shocking. We ordered 4 new yorkers.. The chicken you couldnt cut with a knife. Dry and the chips were cold. We also ordered to steaks whicg were sent bk several times due to not been cooked as it was ordered.. You can imagine we just gave up in the end!! The overall place was filtly. After sitting down for 2 hours the tables behind us still hadnt been cleaned up or dishes removed since we arrived at 7pm. Im not at all wanting to put the staff down at all.. You can see that they were so rushed and short staff it was hard for them to be in 10 places at once.. Ive been here a few times but it was by far the worst. Ill be eating next door from now on!!!! Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

I wouldnt say the food was worst weve had but the service is. Weve been here 3 times and each time our food hasnf arrived at the same time. 5 mins u can wait but no im talking 20mins apart and when i went to the bar to complain i wasnt the only one. This place cpuld be so much better if the staff cared customers

Was down here for 2 weeks visited everyday and never had a bad day staff are great good laugh couldn't fault the place will visit again trouble �

Popped in yesterday for lunch...lovely friendly staff very clean place and I enjoyed my food...fantastic idea the TVs in the wall for young children..id definitely go again �

The service was good and I needed to change something they were very helpful. The food came and it was just as I asked for it cooking. I was very impressed with the service the food and the staff were great I will go back next time I come to Catterick.

Been a few times and the food has always been generally okay.......yesterday order the hot hot hot chicken wings there was nowt hot hot hot about them in fact there was no sauce just plain deep fried chicken wings......ordered the scampi as a main which was tasty but the chips were full of grease so i never ate them we also never got offered any cutlery and i had to get my little boy to go on the hunt for some........the place was busy i think due to the rugby being on, the staff that were working were pleasant enought but on busy days maybe a few more working would help.
