My daughter and I called in here with my elderly disabled mum after a visit to Newark hospital around 4.30pm. What a lovely, friendly landlady. Nothing was too much trouble to accommodate my mum, even doing her a certain sandwich that they finished serving at 3pm. It restores my faith in humanity.
This lady deserves all the custom she gets and more. We wish her all the very best and will definitely return. The food was great too and would highly recommend 👌
Visited this pub with some family last week. The food was absolutely wonderful. The staff were friendly and it had a great atmosphere.

Not visited for years . Food was very well presented & cooked . A big bonus with this pub is that it is dog friendly . A very friendly landlord & staff . Highly recommend & will return . 👍

So today we Thought we try somewhere new For our usual Sunday lunch. And we are so pleased we did. We had a lovely warm welcome. And the food is divine. Service was 2nd to none we are definitely going back.
