The Gardens - Caversham - Photo album

Visited this place today for some hot drinks and cake. The drinks were nice enough (hot chocolate could have been a little sweeter) but the cakes were incredible! We ordered the carrot and walnut cake, and the lemon tart, and both were just fantastic. Best cakes I've had in a while!
A cavernous place with so little outside signage for us to walk past it once in looking for it. Rather minimalist interior with an interesting display of both sweet and savoury pastries. A bit chilly. The jumbo sausage rolls looked intriguing but we were all to full up to try them. The lady behind
Really love this place. They make a great flat white, larger than normal and with 3 shots so still strong. £3.10. The cakes and nibbles are cooked in the cafe by the owner and they are delicious. The staff are great too!
A fantastic hidden gem to find some space and peace in busy Caversham. Always well maintained and even in the cold and wet these gardens are enjoyable. Great to have riverside views with places to sit and relax for a while. The tea kiosk provides welcome hot drinks and cakes to while the time away.
Nice to have an independent coffee option in Caversham. From the same people as Workhouse Coffee, with the same good quality and quirkiness, but this place has its own vibe, bright, lofty almost Scandinavian. So for it's been quiet, it's an asset to the village so I'd recommend giving it a go, hopef
So so lovely in here, the servers were really kind and polite and really make you feel welcome. Coffee was beautiful and accommodating for dairy free people. Brownie was lovely definitely worth having it warrmed up. So cosy, could stay in here all day!!
I am difficult with coffee and rarely find a cup from a coffee shop as good as a pour over I make at home. But I’m not always home. I just moved to the area and have been checking out the range of independent coffee shops here. The Gardens of Caversham was a surprise. Don’t go there for the decor
Had a really, really good coffee and some food here. Enjoyed my visit and would like to go back. Seemed quite understaffed when I was there so took a while to be able to order / get drinks.
An absolute delight! An unassuming store front, but a bounty of baked good caught my eye from the window and I’m so glad I went in! The staff were very friendly and excitedly told us about all the offerings which each sounded better than the last. They had a variety of dairy alternatives too! After
Amazing cakes and brownies! Coffee was good too, and the service very friendly.
I visited here on a Saturday morning whilst visiting the area and thought the service, selection of cakes and drinks was really good. The staff were very friendly and took the time to explain what they had on offer. All cakes on the counter were covered which I think is essential given the current s
Popped in today for the first time. Spacious and so easy to distance. A good range of croissants, cakes, and food were layed out and looked good! The Flat White was good, and they even warned up my croissant for me! Staff were very friendly too. Looking forward to returning.
I like it here. It's minimal, open and doesn't feel as cluttered as other coffee shops in the area. Most of all though, the coffee is very good and they have a lot of varieties. Food is simple, but tasty and good quality. Staff have always been friendly when I've been there. Keep up the good work an
I find myself going out of my way to pop into here for coffee. Some great bean choices, single origin and blends here. Staff are passionate. Great service.
Excellent, excellent coffee. And superb fresh cakes. Excellent service, as well, very friendly staff. It is always nice to pop in here for coffee and cake. The best coffee!
