Worst experience ever. Waited 40 minutes for a big breakfast. The sausage was completely raw, bread barely toasted, scrambled egg was 1 egg worth and over cooked, 3 spinach leaves and tomato was still fresh . Waited another 10 minutes and still hadn’t received hot chocolate or bacon and egg toastie so walked out. Only 1 person working to take orders and cook food for 10 customers in shop.

STAY AWAY!!! NOT worth it!!! Great menu. But they just cannot get it right. :( Generally order from them through Uber Eats. Ordered croissants (because that is what my family likes), today I received toasties instead AGAIN!!!! This was the THIRD time!!!! Ordered pancakes the previous time, they were rock hard, couldn't even cut through them with a knife. When you call to complain they are very friendly and offers to give you "something small for free" the next time. That is not practical with Uber Eats. Called them today to say I want what I paid for, and I was told they will remake it but can't deliver, we have to collect. The point of Uber Eats (and the delivery fee I have now already paid), is to not have to drive there. Drove and arrived to pick up the "redo" order, and had to deal with a VERY unprofessional and unpleasant woman claiming that we ordered toasties on Uber Eats and there is a price difference. After showing her the prices on the Uber Eats app are the same to show that she is wrong, she prepared the "replacement" croissants. Pretty sure she spat in it because she was NOT happy. So won't eat it in any way. As mentioned at the start of my post on the EXTREMELY terrible experience ... STAY AWAY! Just don't go there for coffee or food. SHOCKING!!!!

Ever since New York Cafe was built, we have attempted to give them business whenever we could. Today was the last day that we will do so. They certainly are able to make some excellent food items at times, but a cafe is more than just the food it's about service. Multiple times we have come and left feeling completely baffled and disappointed by the lack of common sense and service. It would be great if they were able to just get an order correct, have the chef get off the phone with his mates and cook, not bring a baby-cino in an adult mug, and give their highchairs a proper clean. I wish them well in the future, but if they expect to flourish as a business they have to do more to build loyalty through service.

Popped into shopping centre for a quick shop. Stopped off at New York Coffee n Grill. The place was empty, no customers. Ordered snd paid for chips ($6.90!?!?!?) came out 30 mins later and chips weren't ready...despite asking for the chips yo be cooked and I pick up on way out....waited for a further 10 mins...never again

I don't write reviews often. But hands down one of the best coffees I have had in Perth. Abit on the pricey side but such a smooth blend that it is worth it. And You know the Baristas know there trade when you get the cup at a perfect temperature. 95% of the barista in Perth need a education on how to make a good coffee. STOP BOILING MY COFFEE 10/10
