First time visited cannot believe this hidden gem really a lovely place to visit. Loved the catwalk exhibition. Loved the museum. The grounds were wonderful and all of the staff really pleasant and all free of charge. This is certainly worth a visit and like my husband and I once you have been you will wish to return regularly. Excellent day out.
Always nice food and drinks here. My daughter and partner love the chocolate Rollo cake, so we need to get some to take home. She said it still is as nice as ever.
the thyme bistro cafe at garden centre has free wifi, good services and friendly staff, the char grilled beef burger was juicy and delicious. A piece of cake was £4.95 and a bit dear.
good place to go and it is free. good garden and kitchen garden (largest selection of pear varieties). the museum is good, worth to visit.
Walked around the grounds of Cannon Hall, lovely place full of hidden gems. The museum there was interesting as well.
Lovely Garden centre with lots of choice, Not the cheapest, but very good quantity
The Cafe is lovely, Had the soup of the day with Rosemary sour dough bread and it was Devine!
We shall be back.
Lovely place
Lovely garden centre with really friendly, helpful and polite staff. The food is gorgeous especially the porridge and the full English breakfast! Clean with lots of space for a double pushchair (or wheelchair) and plenty of high chairs.
Wonderful park to walk sit and relax - museum was excellent - beautiful pieces- cheap parking- free entry to park and hall - good catering facilities and good quality farm shop
Amazing food for a garden centre. I had the vegan ratatouille with orzo and tempura battered asparagus. My other half had the pan fried cod. Both were delicious, fresh and so tasty. Good sized portions too
Lovely place. It has some lovely scenic walking routes, nice cafe and farm shop, slightly expensive but OK. 👍
It's rare I award 5* but, apart from being a lovely garden centre set in beautiful Cannon Hall grounds, the cafe is top class. Best bacon barm and coffee I've tasted in a long time. All served with a smile too. There's very clean, accessible toilets available as a bonus. Thanks.
Great garden centre and cafe. Generally it is dog friendly but the clothing area and restaurant. If you want to eat and are accompanied by a dog you can sit outside. There are some gazebos which would allow for it even on a rainy day. The garden centre is right next to a park.
Whether it's indoor for food or in the undercover dog restaurant, the food is always excellent and menu including Sunday specials are exceptional.
But most of all...doggy sausages go down a treat.
Wonderful few hours spent in the grounds and house. Great day out for family and dogs. £1 for 2hrs parking, we returned and topped up. We took a picnic, but there are cafes etc at the bottom near the car park and up at the top just beyond the house. Swan pedellos on the boating lake £18 for 4 people for 30 mins.
Has a good range of plant and equipment, big focus on outdoor entertaining.
We went to view summerhouses as they're a stockist for a brand we found online but we were disappointed with what was available to view and there was no information on how to purchase.
Please note you have to pay for parking but it's refunded if you spend over a certain amount.
Loving garden centre to visit. Staff are friendly .
