The Halfway House - Challock - Photo album

Stopped off on the off chance of getting food on a busy day. Was not able to get a roast as was all booked up but landlord was very accommodating and offered something else which we were very grateful for. Staff very friendly and a lovely outdoor area . Well worth a visit.
We spent the bank holiday enjoying a wide range of delicious food and drinks served by very tentative and smiley staff. We ate at Halfway House twice in one weekend because the food was that good! We can’t wait to visit again so that we can try the rest of the menu.
Such a lovely local pub. We stumbled on it whilst looking for Kings Wood. Great garden and play area for the kids. Lady behind the bar was really nice. Happy to have found this this pub for summer
Not much atmosphere or choice of drinks - all the real ales were unavailable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was average and overall not great value for money. £16.95 for chicken curry seemed excessive. The only other customers were a group of men drinking who swore constantly. This was 3
It's okay, nicely decorated and has a very large garden but the food is a bit dull. There is a pizza kitchen set up in a wooden building in the garden and I'm told they are good.
Great to see the local pub to Challock back to its best. Had a lovely ploughman's. Chips were excellent! Lovely selection of beers too. The pub decor has been redesigned to be comfortable and welcoming. I would definitely recommend here for any occasion.
Couldn't meet friendlier owners and staff. Food amazing, gardens are stunning. Always remember us. Perfect place!
Such a Shame family visited today (not on Facebook)the chef left Sunday they was told the food was disgusting wrong food arrived after half hour burgers and chips when both ordered Fish and chips I don’t mind giving credit where it’s due but I think it’s disgusting that actually charged full price T
