Not often I give this sort of review. The whole experience was absolutely brilliant. The food was fantastic . The service was second to none. The atmosphere was conducive to enjoying a wonderful meal with ones family without the ridiculous loud voices and laughter associated with some places I have visited. Everything from the starters to the dessert was exquisite. Every dish prepared and presented meticulously . The cocktails were simply wonderful. The blend of flavours were handled by a true professional. I would definitely recommend this place.
A big thank you to the staff for making this such a memorable visit. And my compliments to the management as well.
We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary here at Madhu’s at The Grove.
It was an impeccable meal coupled with fabulous service from the wonderful manager Jeet who always treats us like family.
The renovations are simply stunning. Always a treat eating fine Indian cuisine in a luxurious setting.
We got a last minute reservation as due to the rains the outdoor reservation with another restaurant did not work out.. the food, service , ambience was excellent.. the spices were as per the Indian pallet . We mainly had vegetarian food but what ever we called for was delicious
Went as part of a large group. Service was fantastic, incredibly attentive and sociable. Food was on another level. This, I believe, is true authentic Indian cuisine. All the dishes throughout the meal were perfect - incredible flavours and balance with spices. It's not a cheap meal, but it's fine dining at a very high standard. I would highly recommend a visit.
Food was delicious, service was excellent and staff were truly help and extremely professional.
Love Madhu's at The Grove! Been twice for celebrations and each time the staff has made the evening special. On my last trip, Vishal, our waiter was extremely professional and took the time to make us feel welcomed and explained each of the dishes. Definitely recommend the tasting menu as the food is truly delicious and of high quality. Will definitely return again at some point in time!

Overlooking the beautiful landscaped gardens, which make for stunning views at sunset, Madhus is located within the picturesque Grove Hotel. We were invited to try the 5 course tasting menu (with some extra recommemded dishes to try) and we were left in awe of the views, the food and service. It was all exceptional!

The food was truly exquisite. Everything was very well presented & tasted equally amazing. The selection of poppadums was unique & avocado and mango chutney dip had an Indian twist, delicious! the lamb chops were unbelievably tender & scrumptious. We enjoyed every element of the starters, Hubby who has a strong aversion to fish even enjoyed the sea bass. The chilli garlic prawns were divine!
The royal thali is a great way to try various dishes. What I absolutely loved was how the curries were slightly spicy, weren’t toned down & also how they had a depth of flavour. The chicken mahani was a thick, creamy curry, which was bursting with flavour. The lamb saag curry was also very flavoursome! The prawn moilee was a creamy/coconut based curry, which was mildly spiced yet it was a rich curry. Every dish was well very well executed. The butter naans were also very soft! We were recommended to try the Palak chaat with the curries for a slight crunch and surprisingly, it worked really well. The service was exceptional. Staff were very attentive & incredibly polite even when Little Man was being unbelieveably difficult, they were so friendly and didn’t make us feel out of place once.
I’d highly recommend Madhus!
I have just returned home from a wonderful COVID safe meal at Madhu’s @ The Grove. The service and attention to detail was exemplary! The whole team was so attentive and catered for our needs. Each staff member was very courteous and polite. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the team. The Restaurant Manager also introduced himself at our table and ensured we were enjoying our meal. The food tasted amazing! We especially enjoyed the dishes cooked on the Robata Grill! It was so nice to see the menu incorporating dishes which are in season, like asparagus. I would certainly recommend the Palak Patta Chaat! It was so light and crispy, with a green chutney and yoghurt sauce garnish. It was so refreshing to see a menu with a variety of curries which were all unique in there own way. The curries were clearly freshly cooked and made to order, with very high quality ingredients and the Chef was able to accommodate our request by tweaking the level of spice for us. I was also very impressed with the range of vegetarian/vegan dishes available. All our dishes were very well presented and served piping hot! I did notice some other guests enjoying the Tasting Menu and the presentation of their meal was spectacular! There was no way we could leave without having dessert and I’m glad we had made room for it, even though we had over eaten! The Kulfi was rich, creamy, perfectly balanced with cardamom and always left me wanting another bite! I’ve already made my next reservation and am looking forward to exploring the menu further!
Me and my husband tried the 4 courses tasting menu and loved it. The food is incredible and the venue at the Grove hotel is gorgeous. It was such a romantic dinner. George the waiter was excellent and very knowledgeable on the food on the menu.
We are extremely lucky that Mahdu’s opened a few years ago at the Grove and has maintained its excellent standard. The menu is interesting and creative, the food is delicious and the service is exceptional. They are respectful and attentive to food allergies and are always willing to adapt dishes to accommodate our tastes.
The service was v good standard. The foods amazing, I mean I don't eat lamb cos its has special smell but I tried a slice at this Madhu and I ate them all. Taste really good from first course till dessert! I had the dinner set tasting menus.
Splendid Sunday lunch , enhanced by Aryan and his colleagues. Will book to go again in January. A place to celebrate 🍾. P.S Thank you for surprise anniversary 🎂
This restaurant is beautiful. The interior is amazing and then of course the food is 10/10. I ordered the lamb chops and they were cooked so well. Amil the waiter delivered exceptional service and made sure we enjoyed our visit. Hind the manager was very welcoming and very friendly made you feel comfortable and delighted to be in the restaurant. I definitely will visit again.
