Bay Leaves Larder is such a warm place where beautiful food and lovely service makes you feel like you are special - we visited from Brussels for a weekend abroad and found this lovely haven. My children absolutely loved the hot chocolate and breakfast - my coffee and breakfast was delicious. Really suggest you try Bay Leaves. You will walk away well fed, with some lovely food for lunch or dinner and smiling. Thank you so much for a lovely visit!

This gem, right here tucked away is a screaming reason why coffee/cafe chains shouldn't exist. Had a late breakfast as was v early for an appointment. What a find, I have no idea how they do that good a breakfast at that price. There must be a reason I would do a 120 mile round trip for breakfast when not on a work trip but I haven't quite squared the circle yet. Thank you people, good food, unpretentious environment, job done. Chapeau

Went here today with the intentions of having 1 cup of tea-ended up staying the majority of the day and for lunch too. I can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner. The food was amazing and so was the atmosphere. Will definitely be going back!

The food is lovely and the shop has interesting things to buy. Like a farmhouse shop. If you want something a bit different from boring supermarket brands go and see!

A really lovely coffee shop, cafe and larder. They sell all manner of sweets and treats, cakes and bakes. There’s also a coffee shop and cafe with comfy seating. We stopped by today for coffee and cake - the cinnamon bun with pistachio was really good and they have great vegan options too. Friendly helpful staff and the savoury options - soup, jacket potatoes and so on - looked delicious. Very nice!

Friendly local cafe with loads of food and drink options to eat in or take away. We only had sweet things - the cinnamon buns were great, especially the custard type one. Lots of vegan cakes as well. The coffee was tasty too. Super helpful and friendly staff.

Always a warm and welcoming café with an excellent range of sarnies, salads and cakes. Despite my feelings on the upcoming 'Coronation', I will say that the Bay Leaves Larder's Coronation Chicken special was absolutely delicious and was worth the £8.95 price tag.

Sarah and Claire, provided a lovely afternoon tea for my mother's funeral last week. There was an ample selection of finger cut sandwiches, cakes and scones. The food was delicious and throughly enjoyed by all. I would recommend them.

Lunch with my mum my at Bayleaves today. The staff are brilliant, there was a lady behind the food counter that treated an elderly gentleman in such a kind way. Making time to chat to him, helping him to a seat and treating him like he was one of their family. Food was delicious, we can recommend the sandwiches, soups and cakes! So lovely to have somewhere my mum can walk to which has friendly service and good food.

I really enjoyed my visit here. The eggs and smoked salmon were generous and well cooked. Service very good too especially as they were so busy. One tiny gripe was that lactose free milk for my coffee (oat milk) was charged at 40p extra for a tiny tiny jug. I only had a filter coffee so felt that was excessive. I appreciate I might pay more (although I have never had to at other establishments) but 40p!! Bit steep. Good job I didn’t have a latte!!
