Have been using this Chinese for over 25 years. And would recommend it to anyone. Excellent food , fast friendly staff.and there spare ribs are to die for. Updated 16-03-2019. This takeaway has recently been taken over, the original owners having retired. The new owners whilst being very friendly are nothing to do with the original owners and unfortunately the quality has suffered. It's still ok but not as good.

Moved to Eastleigh from Winchester a few years ago and up until last night had only found terrible Chinese takeaways, all that's now changed as the Canton House and service received in the takeaway were top draw.
Totally recommend this takeaway, you struggle to get better.

My family have had takeaways from Canton for over 30 years, and even though the reins have now been passed down from Dad, the flavours and quality remain the same. As another reviewer has already written, their spare ribs ARE to die for !
It was superb before new ownership and it is superb now. Slightly different tastes and some portions smaller but quality remained the same! Best Chinese in area!
Awesome food, chicken curry is something else. Guy serving is friendly and the whole experience is great. Number 1 in the Southampton area.
By far the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Friendly service and reasonably priced. I highly recommend the Beef green pepper in black bean sauce.
