What a lovely little campsite with amazing views over Somerset. Drinking water, grey and black waste emptying and EHU available and also two loos, which are quite basic but very clean. Fabulous farm shop and cafe. We can highly recommend the full English breakfast!

Definitely the best farm shop I've been to. Not particularly for fruit and veg but fantastic butcher and deli counters. Great frozen section. Huge array of condiments and dry goods. Lots of local produce. Very generous on cake portions in the café. Very 'dangerous' gift section. Could have bought most of it. Had to keep to a couple of early Christmas presents. Will definitely return (often).

We had a lovely family meal today to celebrate our son’s birthday, the highlight was a lovely birthday cake made by Barleymows. An added extra was the staff singing as it was brought out. Can’t recommend this place enough!

While staying at Chard we came here for food because it was one of the top rated places to have food. I can happily say that we were not disappointed. The food is all cooked fresh and the ingredients come from their farm. They have good portions but if you want a smaller portion you just ask and obviously it will be cheaper as well. We enjoyed our food that much that we went a second time. If you go down to chard I would recommend going there for food. The shop was good too. They sell some interesting stuff and we picked up a couple of things for people back home. We will definitely go again if we go back to chard.

Much improved over the last year with a new layout and the addition of a flower shop. The deli counter has an improved range with many local cheeses as well as a good choice of local pies, meats and many other deli staples. The butchery section is as good as ever with choice cuts of local meat. Excellent cafe on site. This farm shop had most things that you could want. Local beers and cider are some of my favourites. Very good access from the A30 and ample parking make this a highly recommended stop off.

My husband and I had lunch in the restaurant today. I must say that the food was exceptional, he had the beef lasagna and I had the shoulder of lamb with vegetables. The lamb was melt in the mouth, and so tender. The efficient serving team were smiling and friendly too. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent all-day breakfasts - real quality ingredients, especially for the price. Very busy midweek lunchtime but friendly service.

Basic rough camping Field on a fairly steep slope down and across, some electric pitches. Good views over valley. Shop nice but expensive. Home grown meat, no burgers for BBQ

Sad to say we have just experienced such poor quality food. We ordered the full english breakfast which we have had before. The sausages tasted only of fat (cheap). Scrambled egg was dried out and was full of shell. sauté potato was soggy and chewy, not fresh and crisp. Even the toast was only cooked on one side. We are really not a family that likes to complain but on this occasion did say something when we paid the bill. All we were told was there were problems in the kitchen. I can only assume something has changed at Barleymow's.

Barleymow's has been a regular farm shop for many years now. The staff are wonderful, the meat they sell is amazing. We love their Snowdon sizzlers which are quite peppery and the chicken cushions could not be easier to cook and taste fantastic, the list could go on and on. The dog thinks they are wonderful due to the regular bones he gets when we shop there. Thank you Barleymow's keep up the hard work

I really love the food and in particular the coffee & walnut cake! A decent size slice too! We have had many family gatherings here. I requested a soy milk or similar be available as my daughter is vegan and a few weeks later on and they have soy milk available! Result! It's a very popular establishment and the staff are generally very good
