Review The Greyhound Italian Gastro Pub - Charlwood

I hired the private dining for my friends baby shower, we just wanted a sit down meal. It was perfect, the service was amazing and the staff were so attentive. Food was amazing, and portion sizes were huge. Would highly recommend and will be back to dine with my family for sure.

Wow, we went to this restaurant for our friends birthday and we were blown away by the quality of food and service!! The Chef was excellent!! He adapted menu items to suit dietary requirements and made a meal completely off the menu , it was delicious! Not only did he do the main course he also made an amazing dessert (again to dietary needs) which I think shoukd definately feature on the main menu along with the main meal. The portion sizes were fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect. The staff have great humour and are very attentive, our friend even got a candle on her dessert and the chef came and sang happy birthday with us! Thank you so much for making (what we thought would be a casual night) such a great time! We all said we can't wait to come back and luckily for us, you're local! Will be recommending to everyone!

Brilliant meal, lots of great vegetarian options and all cooked fresh. Good portion sizes and the staff were great.

Popped in for lunch , was quiet but it was a tuesday . Ordered the sharing platter 16.95 and was worth every penny . Landlord was very pleasant and we would go back .

Patronised this pub in Charlwood village. Very nice ambience inside and outside. Serves Italian cuisine. Had a drink with Bruschetta.

Just popped in for a coffee this morning, I didn't realise the premises didn't open until 12 but was so pleasantly surprised to meet the owner in the car park at the back who told me to sit in the lovely beer garden and he would go and get me a coffee. Service like this is worth more than 5 stars. You start to get used to service which is par at best but when someone goes out of the way to go that bit above it really makes a difference. Thank you Jose nice to meet you this morning, I shall return to try the amazing Italian food you described.

We went here for our pre wedding dinner, 34 people ate and not one person was disappointed. Portions were great food was great. The staff super friendly and helpful and prices very reasonable. Would definitely go back and would definitely recommend

Enjoying a wonderful evening here with family. Staying in the area for Gatwick Aeroport and found the restaurant in search of food. Found a brilliant place for both service and food. We ordered Bruschetta and pizza. Mains were all reasonable sized and very flavourful. At the end of the evening we met the wonderful owner who inquired about our gathering and service. Only constructive feedback is that initially the music was quite loud but became more sporophyte as the evening went on. Would highly recommend and come again.
