Food was delicious! The service was phenomenal. They came outside the reaturaunt to tell us they made space. We got the lemon mess and bread pudding for desert and they were phenomenal! Would absolutely recommend coming here. Wish I lived closer to eat here more frequently.the last item pictured is
While scrolling though the local restaurant on Google Maps we found this place. Chose it for its name and location to where we had been staying. My goodness wasn’t it brilliant! 10/10 recommend the food and service.
From the Staff to the food and drinks ,I can't fault it here -had the sticky chipolatas to start ( at least 16 -see photo) then the steak pudding ! Staff lovely -there when you want them otherwise your left alone . Drinks very reasonable-love atmosphere inside the dining room -clean and tidy . Food
I have just moved to the area and I am very pleased to be close to such a lovely pub! The staff were fantastic and the venue is very cosy- creating a brilliant atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and we will definitely be back and recommend it to others (especially the white chocolate brownie
Great service, great food, great staff Decent sized car park. It's just before the pub on the left. Gets busy so best book We went on a Sunday, good choice. Kids menu is just smaller portions of adult meals. Half price. So good choice for kids Thoroughly enjoyed
Had soup of the day, Broccoli & Stilton, Delicious. The main courses gave varied choices, but I opted for the Hot Roast Beef & onion baguette. The beef was lovely and tender, served with gravy on the baguette, which also Came with a delicious side salad. I had never been before & even though it wa

A really nice welcoming pub with a quality restaurant. A group booking for six people. All ordered starters, mains & pudding. All the meals were hot, well presented & of a really good quality. Booked in boxing day and brought Mum & Dad, second visit in as many months. We all thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic food and service here, especially the lamb Henry & lemon meringue mess. Called Sunday lunchtime a month or so ago, not been here for at least twenty years. The onion and cider soup was
Been here lots of times and always a friendly welcome. Staff will always try and fit you in when you do a walk in. Really nicely furbished, great food and good beers. Great beer garden when the weather's good.
Lovely place, great food & excellent service. The only trouble is it is on 2 levels - wheelchair access is on the ground floor but the disabled toilet is only available via steps, so not practical for wheelchairs at all. Not very good.
A beautiful pub with lively friendly staff (one was singing a little to some songs playing lol). The food was top notch. My stepdaughter and I had goats cheese lollipops with beetroot to start and beef brisket with onion gravy baguette and a side salad for our lunch. There were a few guest ales on t
Such a lovely, calm setting. The pub is clean and comfortable. Staff are amazing and naturally happy to be at work. Food was absolutely gorgeous, generous helpings and plenty of it. Cannot fault this place for food or drink. Don't ever change what you do 👍🏻
Went on a Sunday, very busy as it always is, need to pre book. The food was fantastic and quick service. Highly recommended
What an excellent pub in a lovely location. Obviously very well run with friendly and efficient staff. A lovely ambience both inside and outside in the large beer garden. I had a beef and onion gravy baguette which was gorgeous with a side of homemade onion rings that were perfectly seasoned. Ev
Lovely pub in a beautiful location. Stopped in for some lunch on our journey, great food and service. Great range of options and portion sizes to ensure you're full!
Yesterday I had lunch in this pub, I liked it, nice atmosphere, friendly waiters, food arrived quickly, I have nothing to point out
Fantastic, clean and friendly pub, perfect for a stop off on the way home.
A traditional, dog friendly village pub with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The staff are absolutely great and very attentive. The food is fine, but lacks a bit of finesse and the presentation could be better. That being said, the portion sizes more than make up for it.
