Beautiful pub, the staff and service were great, the food was good value for money and tasted great and the room was very nice but a little draughty due to poor windows. The location and views of the harbour were lovely.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, a booth comes highly recommended!!!! Good quality food , fairly priced and if your a member of the birthday club you get a free meal each year

Attractive pub with a great range if drinks, did is popular but I've not eaten from the current menu. Loads of room to sit outside with a heated and covered area too. Not the cheapest but location and atmosphere are always good and they serve a very decent pint

Lovely hotel, don't be fooled by the exterior, tho!! Rooms are lovely, but the shower curtain in the room opens outwards (oddly). The bed isn't the most comfortable I've slept in (mattress needs replacing!). Food and drink is a tad expensive (as is B&B @ £270 for 2 nights), but considering its location and clientele, I can understand why. Staff are lovely, but service has been a tad slow when serving food. It's location is only spoilt by the 1970s Russian Style 'outlet centre' .... 😉

I recently stayed for business and have to say the rooms are comfortable enough for what I needed. The restaurant and bar have a good food selection and the staff are friendly. One highlight is a good selection of biscuits and drink facilities in the room which is nice after a long day.

Stayed here for a wedding which was in Rochester. Stayed in room 14 which was very comfortable with a view of the boats outside Breakfast was only available from 8-10am on Sunday. The food and choice were really good.

Nice pub, friendly staff.. food seems to have got a lot more expensive in the past year. Tasted nice, but pricey for pub grub

stayed here for 4 nights so we could visit Chatham naval yard which is within walking distance. very nice rooms and friendly staff. good choice of breakfast options, but very poor choice of gluten free food on main menus - steak - that's it ????. unfortunately had a room at the end of the corridor over the Coop mini market so absolutely no chance of sleeping past 5am with them opening and taking deliveries - but not the hotels fault or problem. very nice place made better by lovely weather and being able to sit outside overlooking the water and boats

Went there on a Sunday afternoon and although clearly very busy, the staff were polite and professional. Tables were attended to efficiently and the beer and food were excellent. Keep up the good work. To the manager- your team of staff are a credit to you!

The Sunday roast here is brilliant. Can't fault the food and bar service. If you're dining in the bar its easy to order via app to your table and wait times are good. Unfortunately have to remove one star for service though if you sit on the restaurant side. Tried this twice and service in the restaurant is somehow a lot slower. Staff tend to stand around talking and never come back to your table, so you wait a while after you're done for the bill. Was also turned away last Sunday saying that they're fully booked when there were only about 5 tables seated. In the 2 hours we sat & dined in the bar area there they didn't get any more full?

This review is about the restaurant not the accommodation. While I have visited Ship and Trades restaurant before it was more for drinks and not a meal. This time around we went just to eat and OMG! It was delicious! My gf would not stop raving about the cottage pie. I had the beef burger and the little one had a chicken burger. Everything was finger licking good! Well seasoned, generous portions! Our palates were loving every second, every mouthful! Their plain fries are phenomenal too! We also tried 2 of the cocktails...and thoroughly loved them! It's now going to be another local fav spot! You should definitely go!
