Not a bad boozer but a little rundown. Having read other people’s comments here about it having been a Wetherspoons in the past makes some sense of its layout too. I do like it here though, and the beer garden is nice enough, just a little too dirty in places … and I felt caught out by the fact that they put prices up over the weekend 😂

Great place to hang out with friends! reasonable price for drinks and cocktails and pool on wednesday! Great service from Nathan all the time and makes time to talk to everyone. Friday night DJ is also a vibe. will definitely be returning.

Wonderfully decorated, they even allow dogs and have a hydration station, food there was good they even had some vegan options, however it was quite expensive, I had the mac and cheese pizza it was pretty good but I don't think I'd recommend it, it was quite quiet as I went on a Wednesday but is definitely a good place to drink and chat, I'd say if you're looking for something different try here.

Called in here on the off chance, and I was so pleasantly surprised. Absolutely fab service from all the team, met the GM what a nice guy. Told us about weekend events coming up definitely be popping by. Atmosphere was great, food was good and pub was clean. Nice little surprise and local.

Had a lovely meal at lunch time with my wife and step son. Had a lovely pint of diamond geezer which was very like my favourite pint adnams broadside. The ultimate burger was very nice and my wife and step sons steaks were cooked very well as ask for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because they didn’t have the crumble and as they only have a small desert menu, to not have this on, on a Saturday lunchtime isn't very good. But would go again and recomend.

Had breakfast here yesterday got very small portions an wasnt nice at all my son had beans on toast an wer dry like they had been there ages and cold...my partner an i had full breakfast sausage wer awful bacon was dry...wont b returning.

I absolutely love the Juicy Jane burger. I have been a veggie for 24 years and this has to be the best veggie burger I have ever had. It just melts in the mouth. Love it!

Today my sister and myself went for lunch and we were highly disappointed. We opted for the chicken breast burger. The food came within 5 mins and am sorry to say the chicken breast was microwaved and very unappealing we won't be eating there again.

I was having a great night with all the regulars and regular old wetherspoons staff until the new manager came along and made a complete lie about my friend being 'sick down her top' and refusing to serve her. The main reason I come into this pub is because of the fantastic customer service by the old staff. I'm honestly not sure I will return after tonight, 2*'s is rating it highly. I would just like to say that Craig and the old wetherspoons staff are fantastic but a change of management is needed.

My partner and I went for lunch at the kings tap on Saturday 1st April 2017. The staff was very friendly, and gave a prompt service. It had a good variety on the menu, and reasonable price, the food was presented well, although very basic. It has a quirky decor, and a friendly atmosphere. We had a lovely afternoon, and would go back.

Had the tapas here on Sunday evening and they were lovely , great selection of lovely wine and beer/ lager. Everywhere nice and clean , couldn't fault anything ! 🙂

Had a lovely and amazingly cheap breakfast here. The staff were all pleasant and welcoming. It's also a newly refurbished ex Wetherspoons pub. Spacious and well decorated.
