With 5 different venues to choose from, Dave and I met Bev and Pete at The Grumpy Mole in Oxted. This cosy pub offered the perfect place for a late lunch. It has a traditional old feel to it, with lots of different sections. Dave and Pete met in high school and this was the first time the three of them were getting together since 1987!
Lovely staff, menu and beautifully cooked and presented food. Faultless. I have visited on numerous occasions and I can highly recommend you visit. Tadworth not Cheam as stated.
Nice gastric pub located near nonsuch park. Have dined here on a few occasions now and always happy to go back. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Food is good and definitely worth a visit.

The service here is excellent. Everyone has been so lovely. We visit the bar area with the dog which feels much like the full restaurant. Apparently, the fish and chips are excellent and I loved the ice cream! There are multiple vegetarian and vegan options. Friends have said the pies are excellent.

One of the best pubs I've visited so far honestly. The food was lovely and so beautifully presented. Tasted really good as well. The staff was amazing. No wonder this place has a great rating.

Great service, atmosphere was charming. Me and my partner went for a lovely meal at dinner time. I got the lamb, and it didn't fill me up, but my partners pie, I can tell it was more fillings.
The desserts were great. The fruit coulis with crème brûlée and assorted sorbet. Though my partner found the coulis was tart, but I didn't mind.
I've just moved to Cheam and thought I'd give this place a try,the Sunday roast was fantastic and the staff are very friendly too and I'll definitely be back again and again...👍👍👍👍👍

Visited on a Wednesday evening, although we had a reservation, there were plenty of tables available and it wasn't too busy. We were shown to our tables promptly. Menu had a variety of choices, they usually have a pie and soup of the day so worth checking with the server. I ordered the calamari for starter and the moules marinieres for my main. The calamari was cooked perfectly, the hint of chilli added a nice kick to the dish. I've never eaten moules marinieres before and was pleasantly surprised by the dish. It came with fries and bread. My daughter ordered the chicken nuggets and chips, there's was nothing special about them - just standard nuggets and chips. For dessert I ordered the homemade squidgy meringue with red berries. This was the stand out dish for sure - not too sweet and the squidgy meringue was delicious. I liked the fact I had ordered the dessert to share and they served the dessert portion as two separate plates - nice touch. Overall a good experience, staff were attentive and food was good, would visit again. Only marking a star down due to the kids offering.

We were very impressed with the quality of the food - ordered the vegan chicken burger which was way better than I've had even at vegan restaurants. My partner has the calves liver - excelent french style cooking and good portion sizes. Came out super quickly and staff were amazing. Great value for money.

I took my 4 grandchildren for dinner our waitresses Lindsey & Miriam were so good with the children. We had a lovely dinner and they made our dining experience more enjoyable.
