A real treat! Had the steak and ale pie -first class. 1. A proper pie 2. Steak which fell apart 3. Triple cooked chips were perfect. 4. Red wine gravy was rich, and full of flavour. The list goes on...

Did not stay here. But the food and service were excellent. Menue had plenty to choose from. And the bar staff were very attentive. Went with friends and our dog. We had a nice quite table which we requested as we had a very nervous dog. Our food came out together as requested as we paid separately. The food was was excellent. Top marks goes out to the chef as it was a very busy place. Would advice booking first. Which we did. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great experience. Julie Loader

Prices are above average but the food was superb. Beer was first class but a pint of beer and 175ml glass of Pinot Grigio was £4:00 more than our local. Cannot fault the quality. Presentation was excellent. Very chatty staff. Quick service at the bar. Tastefully refurbished. Lovely location where you can people watch when sitting outside. Plenty of room inside. Good choice of venue for a weekend break.

We had a superb Sunday lunch here. An excellent choice of beer, both local and from further afield. Parking was easy to the rear which was handy as it was tipping it down outside! The food choice was different than viewed beforehand online but fortunately it was even better. The quality of food was also superb. Overall I will definitely return and recommend to others.

Welcomed by friendly staff. Room and bathroom clean, fresh and nicely decorated with super touches. Thought the jellymen, nuts and water were great. Food was amazing. We are gluten free and could eat almost any thing on the menu. The breakfast was brilliant, yummy and friendly.

We recieved a warm and genuine welcome from Alice on arrival. Which contained throughout our stay, so chatty and friendly. She explained about check in/out, dinner and breakfast. Lovely pub/restaurant which attracts lots of different tourists. A nice patio for drinks after long walks around Cheddar. The menu was just right with a nice mix of classics and some more unique dishes. We enjoyed the fish and chips, lamb burger and risotto. Breakfast was just as tasty, lovely chunky brown toast and flavoursome black pudding. Comfortable room with some nice additional touches. All of the staff we came into contact with were friendly, helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. Would recommend.

On holiday and booked this as we passed through a couple of days ago. Just enjoyed probably the best Sunday lunch we have ever had! Food was great, good portions and good value, excellent customer service, staff couldn't do enough. Dog friendly too. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay at the Bath Arms Hotel in Cheddar. A beautiful pub and hotel located right in the town. Great outdoor seating area and big indoor pub and restaurant area. Great food, good selection of drinks, lovely staff and friendly locals. Lots of parking and very nice room we had, but was at the front which can be noisy but fine of us. Breakfast was very nice and set us up for the day. Highly recommended hotel and pub.
