Riverside Inn - Cheddar - Photo album

Great staff, but some could do with a bit more training. Nice pub/restaurant with a huge range of drinks including a few cask ales. Inside and outside dining with a lovely conservatory. A small free car park to the side. Food generally OK but missing items could be announced before choosing, rather
Nice food and drink we just had a breakfast, too large πŸ˜€ delicious though. Had a few drinks in the afternoon πŸ‘ we stayed in the council car park next door Β£5:50 per day night stay is free from 6pm to 9am . We have a large motor home 8 metres and this pub car park is small!! Yes it would fit though πŸ‘
Beautiful location have been here several times on my travels. Peaceful location with wonderful views.
Sometimes it's something done well, not fancy that earns a pub continued custom. So it was with the Riverside late Aug 22. Pub lunch for two: Doom Bar beer and a cider washing down fish, chips & peas and a gluten free burger with tasty tomato relish & chips. Tasty, well cooked food nicely presented.
We had fish finger wrap and a club sandwich for lunch. It was served promptly and hot. Everything tasted great. Good value for money and my dad says it was the best cappuccino he's ever had. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Definitely going back again will recommend to everyone
Booked here on wet Sunday on our holidays. Realised the reviews didn't look great after we'd booked but thought we'd give it a go anyway. Pleasant lady welcomed us and helped sort out tables for the 9 of us and a dog! Food not amazing but not terrible. Service pretty good...general pub vibe.. Overa
Good place to stop into after going through the caves at Cheddar Gorge. Really child friendly with an outside play area. Large beer garden with sun shades. Good selection of drinks, ales and ciders. Decent selection of food to choose from as well. Showing sports also.
Only stopped for a drink and quick service and polite staff. There's a large garden with plenty of seating but lots of dirty glasses and plates not being cleared. Could be a lot nicer if tables kept cleaned.
We stopped in for Sunday lunch while exploring cheddar. Pleasant atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Obviously being a Sunday during school holidays the place was very busy. There was a lot g wait for food, took a little over half an hour to arrive and, while very nice there were a couple o
Had a really nice family meal here, and staff were super friendly. Will definitely return. A lovely outside play area for the kids too so long as the weather is nice.
Just had drinks, reasonable prices, they have sports on. Friendly staff, cozy with fire on, not real logs thou. Good location by the river.
Went here for lunch - big servings, lots of choices, great pub with locals and tourists and excellent bar staff. We had a seafood pie and fish and chips - good value for money. Oh, and it’s dog friendly which is always great!❀️
