Wonderful little pub! Really well maintained garden area, which is great for kids! Dogs allowed too on a lead. Food was good and the service was excellent. We were made to feel very welcome. We're not locals, but will definitely be back...

Just started getting in local beers. Popped in for this week's guest beer from Vale. They have a great cellar so got a great pint. Food served most nights from 7pm and have a new pizza oven :-)

Just had the first takeaway pizza ever from the shoes. Wow it's the best pizza I've had in a long time. Good work Michell.

Delighted to be able to visit this lovely country pub again and actually go inside after the lockdown. Friendly staff. Tasty food and reasonably priced. Good to see covid safe measures are all in place. Will definitely go back again.

Fabulous Sunday Roast today and the desserts were beyond perfect. Lemon curd ice cream with Lemoncello and Chocolate sponge pudding with custard. Thank you so much guys. Would highly recommend x

A really good proper pub. Great atmosphere and the landlord and lady very welcoming and friendly. Also great for an impromptu acoustic jam if you're feeling musical!

the meals are first class and so is the service. had a lovely roast dinner there on sunday with my family and it will be our future eating place from now on thank you to the lovely pleasant lady that served us . mr and mrs w r lewis cheddington.

Gorgeous village pub that Jules and Michelle have put the heart back into. Welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed some cosy fires and lovely drinks in the 'bottom bar' recently. Can't wait for them to start doing food again. Thank you for rebuilding our local pub. I'm so pleased to support it and love the atmosphere.
