Hanci Turkish Restaurant

Went to this restaurant this evening. We were early and made very welcome,With my wife.We ordered pink fish eggs which was tasty and creamy which I can’t pronounce and Calamari with olives. It was great. The Turkish beer was great, we then had two types of lamb which I enjoyed but my wife thought it was a bit spicy,my fault I should have ordered something else. But it was very nice and would go again and would recommend it.A very nice restaurant.. I wish this place a happy future.

When we arrived to a very quiet restaurant only 2 other tables, seated promptly, warm bread and Oil/pesto brought to table. But took some time 10 + mins after bread to come and take drinks order, which we ordered food at same time as first drinks, The food was amazing we gad a lamb sheesh and a mixed sheesh followed by white choc cheesecake. Waiter/ owner very nice, just shame on drink wait at start.

This is a new restaurant to the area but it is superb. We've been twice and both times it has delivered great food and lovely friendly service. It's all freshly prepared (even the bread) and we loved everything that we tried. We had calamari (the best in Essex), octopus tender not chewy (pic ), an aubergine smoked garlic dip (pic) and the mixed grill. Would highly recommend.

Ordered meal for a dinner party by telephone a couple of hours before. Arrived on time and was delicious, hot, generous portions and enjoyed by all. Very well presented, thoroughly recommended and will certainly be using again.....and again. Thank you HANCI for making our Family occasion special. Nice

Visited Ziyaret for the second time last week. We were the very large party and once again the atmosphere was electric, the service was smart and friendly and the food was incredibly delicious. they've been in business long enough to let things slide if they were going to but they certainly have not done so. The biggest compliment I can give them is that it's just a fun place to be. I don't know how they managed to serve drinks as fast as they did but there didn't ever seem to be a very long wait even though the place was packed. And it seemed like they just kept the food coming at a slow trickle so that we were eating Delicious food the whole time. I'd highly recommend booking them for a party if you can. They are a delightful lot.
