The Gurkha Restaurant - Chelmsford - Photo album

I can't recommend The Gurkha enough, there's few restaurants I prefer to eat. This place is perfect. There is nothing I can fault with the food or the service. It tastes incredible, honestly nothing better in Chelmsford that I have found! Service and the people goes above and beyond. The guy that d
This place has never let me down the food is fantastic every time and the Staff are amazing. Everyone who I recommend always give it top reviews. The boss is a true gentleman and meticulous in every thing he’s does.
Great food. Friendly service. Reasonable price and big portions. We ordered too much and took the extra home. Try number 67 the Brinjal Bhaji - it is aubergine and is a delicious side dish, absolutely delicious. We are not local, but will come back one day
We were a party of 5 who didn't have a reservation but they accommodated us anyway. The service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. I had a wonderful duck dish which was stir fried and it was excellent the perfect blend of taste and heat. Perfectly accompanied by their selection of beers. 1
Had an excellent lamb curry on the managers recommendation. Good polite service. Will return.
The staff are super polite and attentive here. The food is amazing and can come in whatever spice level you can handle. Good value for money and easy to get to.
Great food, at a good price. Refreshingly different to others in the area. Well worth a visit or for a takeaway. Beautiful meal last night. Tried the set menu. Great choices, great food.
Best takeaway in Chelmsford. Little expensive but worth the money. Try the mish mash mush. I have travelled Nepal, this place serves really traditional food.
The restaurant we wanted to book was full, so I found this alternative by asking Google for an Indian restaurant near me. This place is Nepalese, and there are obviously some similarities because of geography. If you like Indian food and want to play it safe, there are plenty of familiar dishes to c
Good food. Right amount of spices. One star less for slow service.
It was my first visit to the Restaurant and it was most enjoyable evening. The Staff are friendly and helpful and the Food is Delightful. There was nice background piano music which cc rested a lovely atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.
Never been to this restaurant before, but it was a lovely experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the Nepalese food was delicious and they even served a bottled beer I'd never come across, which just happened to be called Gurkha. I thoroughly recommend giving it a go if you are in th

Love this place! Excellent food. Their clay oven dishes are superb. Best value dish is mish mash chow chow noodles, great tasting too. Manager very personable.
Back twice recently, and it was just as good as I remembered. Really friendly staff and superb food. A somewhat different menu from the typical Indian restaurant, but not so different that an Indian food afficianado would be disappointed. And the naan is perfect...
Had a meal with friends mid week, the food was very good. The restaurant was very busy and there didn't appear to be enough staff and rhe service was very slow.
