Clay Pigeon - Chelmsford - Photo album

Perfectly good pub in a suburban area. Outdoor seating, restaurant seating, a bar with 6 big screens, clean tables, pleasant staff and Timothy Taylor Landlord at £4.40 (Oct 2022). Decent pint measure. No complaints.
Friendly staff with a good selection of beers and they have a pool table and a darts board for those who need to be entertained.
The food here is absolutely amazing, the roast dinners are out of this world. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. I love the pub and restaurant itself, has a great outdoor space. I know this place puts on alot of evening events, haven't yet attended any but can't wait to try them out. Very
Was absolutely lovely!! Never been here before nor heard of it but would definitely go back again and again and recommend. Outside area was big, spacious and kid friendly with a big play area but also an outside area for adults with no children so they could get away from any noise ha ha. Dogs were
Visited on a rare trip to my home town. A lot has changed at the Clay to make it clearly the "go-to" pub for easy walking distance. Our visit was on the jubilee night and featured a lively live band and a livelier audience making for an enjoyable (and for me, rare) evening of celebration. They appe
Nice play for some pool and a drink and good prices will come back another day to taste the food as looks nice

We arrived at the Clay Pigeon about 12.30 and the space inside was brill around a circular bar with an outer indoor eating area. There was a brill play area outside for our lively toddl
I've eaten twice here and both times have been excellent. The food is American style and cooked superbly and service is good. Prices are very reasonable too. The restaurant itself is separated from the pub, but if there is live music you may still here that. The Clay Pigeon is situated in the middle
We had a lovely time here, very spacious, staff friendly and professional knowledge of drinks is good. Food was great we may pop in again today. The cheesecake was great and the bugers was good to. Music 🎶 is good, shame that they didn't have Sunday roast on, but in hot weather it would not pay.
We had heard the clay pigeon had changed management so thought we'd give it a try. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered from the menu instead of having a Sunday roast, the food was tasty we all had something different, all were very happy with our meals... Would definitely go again and
