On Saturday my family arranged a surprise 60th birthday for me at Elachi with 28 guests. This was the first time I had been to the restaurant and I have nothing but praise and admiration for the food, the manager and his staff. I found with such a large party they were friendly, extremely accommodating and the food spot on, even though there were so many of us eating at the one time the food was timely, hot and very tasty. Without hesitation I will be going back and fully recommend Elachi, thank you for making my night even more special.

Food was delicious and freshly prepared. The menu has many of the usual dishes offered at Indian restaurants plus some specialities. Staff are polite and attentive. Ambience is nice though can get a little noisy if lots of people are in probably due to hard flooring and minimal soft furnishings.
Good pricing too. Meals for 4 with several side dishes plus drinks came in at just under £100. We were all given complimentary drinks too at the end of the evening.
Will definitely go back.
An excellent Indian restaurant with super friendly staff and very reasonable prices. In this day when many Restaurants are cutting back with ingredients and quality, the Elachi Restaurant offers superb quality at very reasonable prices. I travel a few miles than I normally would as the food and service is worth it.
We went there for a little celebration and ordered mixed meat and seafood curry, which was quite rich, and complicated flavor! So good!!!
Excellant service, excellant food and will certainly be coming back. The food was full of flavour with just the right amount of spices , it was well presented and we didnt have too wait long.
We will certainly now use them for all take outs aswell as eating out !

First visit on Saturday night. Elachi was recommended to us as our usual Indian Restaurant was only doing take aways. What a revelation !
Why hadn’t I found out about Ilachi before ?? The food was wonderful, the staff very friendly and the service was efficient but unobtrusive. We shall, without doubt, visit the restaurant, more regularly. Can’t recommend this gem enough.
Went to Elachi Fine Indian Cuisine last night, It wasn't very busy but it was a Monday and I did turn up at 9.30pm. The food was very good to be honest one of the best Indians I have had in a long time and to top it off i had 7 dishes and 2 drinks now normally that would cost me around £50 where I normally go but here it was only £27! so value is amazing!
Would 100% recommend.
I lived in South Woodham for 20+ years and I have since moved away, but I still struggle to find a local Indian Restaurant that compares to Elachi. The food is very good, and the waiting staff are friendly and attentive.
