A great friendly pub. Went there to watch live music and found the pub to be a wonderful traditional pub. I hadn't stepped foot in the place for over 30 years and was pleasantly surprised. Will definatly go back especially for the live music nights.
Easily the best pub in Chelmsford and beyond - great drinks selection, family friendly during the day (my kids love it), delicious food, a happening crowd and great music in the evenings and at weekends. Brilliant events as well, can't ask for any thing more!! 5 Stars *****
Super pub in Chelmsford, very busy on the Friday evening of my visit, but worth the wait at the bar. The Brethren of this pubs clientele are united in appreciation of the great job the pub is doing to serve their local community, a couple of ales available, but more craft choice, see the pubs bio.
Went to The United Brethren the other night. Quite a nice little pub, although we went as a large group and with the size of the pub, the two aren't suited as it felt quite cramped most of the time when within the pub. The outdoor area however is far more spacious and a nice place to have a drink when the sun is out. Staff seemed friendly and happy to serve so other than the lack of space, it was an enjoyable experience.
A lovely pub, great selection of beers and spirits. There are some really comfy chairs and sofas and a great atmosphere. Large outside, in winter has a tippee with heating. Dog friendly inside and out. Well worth frequenting!
Came in for a pint. Had radio wave which was on point. Great atmosphere and decorations. Super friendly staff - hannah was happy to talk to us about the gins they have on, beers and sold us on the place. Would absolutely come back. Thank you Hannah!!

Great pub with a nice atmosphere, a good crowd, tunes playing. A great selection of drinks to choose from.
No food sold on premises however they allow you to bring food in or order to be delivered. Great female staff member when we visited, from Braintree and scared of spiders
What a wonderful pub, a great range of beers & spirits, great interior and best of all is the unique beer garden. Sun, beer and friendly staff!
Nice pub just off Moulsham Street. Good range of different drinks (boy just the common ones) with a lot of craft beers and other beverages. Really nice atmosphere too
10/10! Had a vintage stone island jacket missing some buttons the lovely lady at the front was so helpful with picking some replacements and bringing the jacket back to life! With the added dry clean the jacket is looking 10/10! Honestly over the moon! Thanks again
