Everything about this pub was fantastic The staff are extremely friendly and the service is excellent. It is disabled accessible and the food is very tasty with big portions. We had loaded nachoes, fish pie, steak and kidney pie and fish and chips. To anyone stopping or passing through I thoroughly recommend this place. If I were a local I'd be here all the time.

Amazing service from the staff here. Brought my family here, for a bit of food after a good walk. My son who is quite young, very particular with food. The staff made sure he got what he wanted (scampi and chips). Atmosphere was very inviting and the services (toilet, etc) were clean and tidy. A great place to stop for food, drink and a chat.

We'd been to Danbury Lakes and found the closest pub to go have some lunch. So we were introduced to The Bell and wow I'm so pleased we were. Let by Daniel who's lovely and had a choice of seats as a walking club who had booked table were not walking sure to the heat. 32C We were both made welcome and seated with a fan. Complementary water at the bar was nice. The menu is quite extensive and the food we chose was well worth it. I had the Sausage Melt and my wife had a Cheese/Onion baguette. Both come with salad and chips, and they were very filling. Such a nice place to eat with great food, friendly staff who made us very welcome. Just to note this is a dog friendly pub, with facilities for the larger dogs like Greyhounds too. So to follow this up, we are looking to have a lunch with friends with our dogs, when the weather is less crazy

Stopped here this evening after a bike ride and had a lovey meal. The prawns are huge!! And the burger was delicious. Everything made perfect by the extremely warm welcome from the lovey lady (sorry I don't know her name) who was working. Def will come back. Thank you!!

This is a great find, really friendly, some nice beers on tap. They have a large grassed beer garden perfect for the kids to play whilst you enjoy a quiet drink. Definitely worth a visit. The recent addition of the pool table and darts board is good fun.

Me and my family popped in yesterday for a quick drink on way home from farm. And I was blown away by the such lovely warm welcoming lady behind the bar. The drinks were cold and the pub had a lovely feel traditional and elegant. We didn't stop for food but from what I saw it looks lovely 😋 we live in thurrock so bit of a drive but we will be coming back to try the food and to enjoy this lovely pub. And hopefully not catch people with hand sanitizer. I'm sure the lady knows what I mean

First time at the Bell for a few years. Now with a new car park and an excellent choice from the menu and specials board. Service and food was excellent which made our family get together just perfect, and dog friendly as well. We cannot wait to go back again, especially in the summer beer garden.

This is my second visit since the refurbishment and both times was pleasantly surprised. Daniel and his team could not do enough for his customers. There was a really good selection of food including vegan food that was delicious and competitively priced. Will certainly go there again as soon as I can. Lovely food in a peaceful environment with a warm feel.
