Lovely Fresh cooked food good, Menu not too extensive, nice Tea and Coffee. Comfortable and homely setting you may have to wait for a table but not normally for to long.
When you come in, you suddenly switch to the 1900s. Herbal teas are very tasty, especially with red fruits and the presentation is great. I definitely like it and I always go.

Prices so reasonable too, with good quality food. Huge teapot... lovely oldie woldie experience. ✨ Would definitely recomm

Just love it here, decor makes it and the range of menu options has something for everyone, even afternoon teas! A nice little treat for me and my friend away from the hustle and bustle and price is not outrageous and just right.
Excellent breakfast and gluten free options available. Really friendly staff and nothing too much trouble. Not sure if dogs are allowed inside but we sat outside and our dog was given treats and fresh water. Will certainly return!
A hidden gem and a rare find in Chelmsford. The place is very quaint and feels like your grandma’s living room.
What a great little place a client picked to have our meeting at, in a great way it felt like going back 30 years, really felt like we was having tea at your nans house. Was nice and quite to have our meeting and food. Nice staff and very good coffee.
