My friend and I had dinner last night. The service staff were great and couldn't do enough for us. The expresso martini was delicious!
Starter was full of flavour and light, like I wanted and the lobster in garlic was lovely.
Only recommendation would be to have lemon wipes for hands after lobster

Bourgee is as sophisticated as I expected. We were greeted by a charming gentlemen who welcomed us to the restaurant and showed us to our table, which we had pre booked.

Chelmsford is really lacking restaurants with decent service but not here, the food was 100% spot on, the cocktails delicious and the service was excellent.

fairly expensive but reasonable for a steak restaurant. portions are quite small. service when i’ve been was poor both times, slow and sadly the waitress was quite rude and didn’t know the menu at all!

Afternoon tea here with my partner has now become a tradition. The service exceeds our expectations each time we visit and it only keeps getting better. Amazing meal in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Very tasty beef Sunday lunch via Groupon deal (booked direct with Bourgee online). Also had a couple of cocktails which were delicious, both made up by the barman. Don't go without trying them! Highly recommend.

Great place to eat food was excellent the staff were great, we were on a catch up after 16 years so we just kept talking and they did not pressure us to order at all. When we did eventually order the food was great. Will definitely be returning.
