Fabulous service from all staff. Lovely vast menu catering to all tastes from the grill, pizza, burgers to a fantastic seafood risotto! Absolutely delicious food and reasonably priced considering location. One of our favourites in Chelmsford

Lovely setting, Fat Pat Burger very nice, fat chip undercooked, wife had Pulled Hampshire Pork which was also excellent. I would give the Burlee a miss, very sloppy and a bit tasteless to be honest. Drinks were sensibly priced. Staff were super friendly and professional.

The best addition to chelmsford! Staff were so friendly! Can't wait to return and try more from the menu.

Had a lovely meal early Sunday evening. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive and the price was great. So many restaurants have put their prices up so that an ordinary meal costs the earth. The Wood Grill was excellent value for money, we will definitely go back.

Just been here today. Table wasn’t in the best position - felt it was a little unfair 2 people came in without a booking and were sat in amongst the main room but we were left by the door. However, food was great and Alice is really welcoming and friendly. Will go back again
