Me and my boyfriend were panicking that we were late but never fear, Jamie and Shawn are here. We were well looked after by these two as they made us feel at ease and kept the drinks flowing, ordered our food as soon as we arrived which all added to the atmosphere and culture of the place. Honestly the best experience being here , everyone is absolutely on form and they are so attentive as well as the atmosphere is incredible. We got served by Lee and pippa they were incredible , definitely 10/10
The bouncers were absolutely incredible they were there when we needed them and also so friendly, I feel so safe coming into this place

Our board wasn’t brilliant but the manager really went above and beyond giving us a round on the house and an extra hours play on a board working a bit better. Had a really good evening and very impressed with service

Anwen served us from start to finish and came over every 10-15 minutes asking for our drinks order, despite how many we had from our last order! Definitely got our moneys worth and a very speedy and friendly from Anwen! Definitely recommend! Great service and value for money!

Did axe throwing for the first time! Was brilliant definitely recommend! Milly our attendant who made sure we didn't kill each other and was wonderful! And very helpful although I think she gave my friend more points 🤣 thanks milli :)

Thanks to Lee and his team for treating us so well on the celebration of our registry office wedding. We had an amazing afternoon full of fun. Axe throwing, darts, shuffleboard and crazier golf with the new in laws. Topped off with a sparkler celebration with prosecco!
A thrilling experience that provided plenty of laughs and friendly competition making us feel like kids again!
But what truly set Boom Battle Bar Chelmsford apart was the personal touches they added to make our celebration extra special.

Went during the lunch time so was quiet and had a lively chat with the team.
Food and drinks were great, crazier golf was fantastic!

Great choice of games here, we played the Augmented Reality Darts for 1 hour and this was enough time to try all the modes a couple of times. Highly recommended and I will be returning to try the other games. I didn't order any food so can't comment on that.

Arrived here this afternoon for an impromptu game of mini golf.
I was met by a very nice chap called Jamie who was really friendly and definitely bringing good vibes to the place. We had a game of mini golf which was fun.
We had the lovely bar tender molly who couldn’t do enough to ensure a fantastic day. One drink turned into 4. We ended up staying for some food. The cauliflower wings were like no other and my loaded friends were very tasty.
Shaun suggested another game which we couldn’t turn down he is a very positive young lad and assisted us with any queries as we were new to the boom battle bar experience.
All in all a truly great experience. Where we were only expecting to stay a hour and ended up staying three hours.
The staff that work there are an asset to the company. Very well done.
I will be back again soon with a few more people and a longer night.

We went as a group for my boyfriends birthday. Had the loveliest time, we did mini golf and karaoke. Staff were so lovely and really helpful! The venue is so nice and chill with a great atmosphere. So worth the visit for anyone round or visiting Chelmsford for day/evening

Cracking night out and one of the best recent additions to Chelmsford’s nightlife.
From Axe throwing, beer pong, augmented darts to karaoke to name a few you can easily spend all night here. Food is not bad either. Definitely pre-book weeks in advance for best time slots.

We have been to Boom battle now a few times and each one has been great! We have been with friends, with colleagues for a team building afternoon and last night we finished dinner and fancied an activity to end the evening on and popped in for some crazy golf... its challenging and fun... and coupled with a good atmosphere it really is the perfect date night venue or catch up with friends. Ages of people inside are very varied too! Staff are friendly. Cocktails are great. 5 stars without fail!
