One of the best independent cafes in Cheltenham. The staff are friendly, good was tasty and good atmosphere.

I had breakfast here and it has been really nice! The place is cozy and different from all the other coffee chains, offering various types of seatings and tables depending on what you prefer. We popped into the Bishops Cleve Cafe and Deli yesterday afternoon, after a business meeting.
Absolutely delightful place, the Ladies behind the counter were friendly and welcoming. The coffee was perfect along with the toffee apple cake.
I would highly recommend this place and will be back.

The food was superb. A lovely range of fresh cakes, with some unusual flavours like banana and cinnamon, lemon and elderflower, along with Victoria sponge, coffee cake, carrot cake, brownies and more.
I was in Cheltenham early for a meeting and saw this beautifully-inviting coffee shop as I was passing and decided to get myself a coffee. Fantastic place, friendly staff, delicious OFT!
Great drinks and super friendly service! Both members of the team on Saturday were polite and nice to talk to, and there’s a good selection of drinks available. The interior is nice and you could definitely spend a long time in there! Glad we visited black and gold instead of a chain 😊

Only had a coffee which was nice. The cafe was quiet while we were in there. Staff were friendly. Not much I can say about this place.
Nice place friendly staff flapjack was ok service a bit disjointed with half order coming a bit later but staff apologised when they brought it

Good atmosphere & coffee, feels rustic unlike some of the hugh coffee chains. Very conveniently located for me which add to the appeal.

Had a real nice time at this coffee shop. Great decor and staff where really friendly. Will make it a regular stop when shopping in Cheltenham. Way better than some of the National coffee outlets. Cakes where very nice as was the quirky cutlery.
