Popped in to get an easy evening meal for the family. Friendly chap on the counter and food was nice. The sauce station is a nice touch as good to see an alternative to the little plastic pouches. A bit more expensive than I expected but overall a nice meal

A stalwart in Cheltenham for over 40 years & still in its original location. Other franchised Burger Stars (Ross-on-Wye, Gloucester & Tewkesbury) have come & gone, many turning into a poor imitation, with food quality not up to scratch. The original still stands out for the quality of its food and service. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it mentality." Slightly dearer than the mainstream corporate burger joint, still " Burger Star the best by far".

Absolutely delicious and the ability to add however much of whichever sauce you want plus toppings like jalapeños and gherkins was unreal. I had the quarter pounder with cheese and my friend had the chicken option and we shared the mac and cheese bites (big recommend).
