We have a new neighbour and she asked me where to go for fish and chips I told her Royal fish bar, she then asked me,when I go again could I get her some fish and chips . This I did for her, gets a text from her saying that the fish was some of the best she had tasted only one small problem, she had too many chips, but again they were nice, ok I have read some of the comments, I have always found the staff to be very helpful, cheerful, that's why we go there every week, there is another fish and chip shop nearby but nowhere as good.

As good if not better than Simpson. Their large cod is excellent and chips are OK but could do with being a bit darker however not a big issue.

Recently had chicken, pies, sausages and chips with curry sauce for me and the partner oh I did have a cheeky donar wrap for the drive home. They've recently changed the place up bigger cooking area it seems. Food was very reasonable, tasty not to greasy no next day toilet sprints needed. Staff very friendly and professional.

Amazing food, love the fresh fish and if you ask them to cook you cheese nam in the kilm then put the cheese on top after then melt it, it turns out amazing, I will definitely be ordering again
