A pleasant surprise, last minute booking and it was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and tentative. The food was wonderful! The naan bread was the best I have ever had, fresh and light. The monk fish was my favourite dish, creamy and flavoursome. Great touch with Voss water, hot towels, chocolates and wiped surfaces between courses. Would definitely go again. Thanks for the great evening.

Really good price, lovely employees and the food is so tasty. Will definitely be coming back!! Would recommend the Tandoor Bazaar, you get to try a bit of everything, the prawns are amazing!

Classy restaurant in Chesham, Papad has lovely decor and ambience. They have prepared themselves well for social distancing and sanitising!! Food is fantastic though some of the dishes lacked a bite on them. We enjoyed it nevertheless.

First impression - 5 stars Food was amazing, super tasty and you can tell the ingredients are of fine quality. Very reasonably priced. Service was also 10/10, very attentive, friendly and professional. A must if you’re visiting Chesham!

Have been using papad for 6 years now. Lovely restaurant with staff that go out of their way to make your experience pleasant. Never had an issue once with any of my food. They even make changes to dishes so my child who has allergies can also eat there. 10/10 would recommend.

Had the tandoori bizarre, wow! What an explosion of Individual flavours that came together beautifully. Don’t think I’ve ever had tandoori grilled food that led me on such a culinary journey, A must try for anyone - the chef is a true master of his trade!!

Fantastic meal at Papad tonight. Took my 11month old and the staff were amazing with her. They were quick to advise on what foods she would be able to try and what might be too spicy or unsuitable. Can’t thank them enough for making us feel both welcomed and comfortable.

Excellent meal - bit different from the usual Indian food but no less enjoyable. I went for a chilli beef washed down with a couple of cobras and accompanied by rice and an excellent cheese and chilli naan bread. I would certainly go there again one day

I decided to give Papad a second chance after vowing never to eat there again because of a disastrous evening there just after they opened. On our first visit, the restaurant had no record of our booking and tried to squeeze five of us around a table that could barely seat 3. It took an hour for our orders to be taken, a further hour to receive our food and then around an hour to receive the bill after asking. Not once did anyone apologise. Last night our group was crammed onto a table that could not accommodate us. We asked if we could move but were refused. Where my partner was sitting made it difficult for people to pass. A member of staff asked if he could tuck himself in which was impossible. When a member of staff tried to get by he actually asked my partner if he was blocking his way deliberately. That's when we left. Worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The staff are extremely rude and I would never recommend this establishment to anyone.

Amazing and very different Indian restaurant, lovely and inspirational regional specialities in a funky environment. It's not my local but will travel for a better curry experience, sauces seem less synthetic and more authentic and natural flavours, seems healthier somehow.

This is a FANTASTIC place to eat - we are regulars and are so happy to have such a great restaurant close by! Brilliant food, friendly, warm service and beautifully designed interior. The menu is broad and exciting but contains all the classics too.
