The Chiltern Velo Cafe - Chesham - Photo album

Epic pit stop just out from Chesham, such a good toastie, beautiful view and from what I can see a mechanic onsite, luxury time-out from being in the saddle - I will be back!
Cafe aimed at cyclists, but families, walkers and dogs equally welcome. The food and coffee is good but service can be a little slow when busy, but you can enjoy the great views while you wait.
Certainly the best bike repair service I've ever used (and I've used a lot). Rob does a fantastic job and gives honest, no nonsense advice about bike maintenance. Just a thoroughly excellent customer experience from my perspective, and you've got the café there as well, couldn't ask for more!
I thought I was quite early, but it was already very busy. Despite this, the service was quite quick. The coffee was very nice, as was the biscoff cake (albeit a little dry).
New to road cycling and to the area but stopped in here on a ride yesterday as having an issue with a loose stem that just wouldn’t tighten. Rob came out, diagnosed the issue and sent me on my way within a few minutes. I’ll be using this as my local coffee stop and for servicing in the future. Thank
Terrific place, terrific service. Rob came to the rescue when I turned up to the cafe with a broken spoke. The service was above and beyond, as they were clearly busy with work and fitted me in whilst I had a coffee replacing the spoke and truing the wheel. Can't recommend them enough.
A great place to stop while hiking in Chesham Vale or Hawridge. Good choice of coffees, teas and excellent bacon bap. Tasty cakes to finish off a relaxing lunchtime break. Welcoming staff and lovely patio with tranquil views. Will return as often as we can.
I go to Chiltern Velo all the time, both for the cafe (which is excellent) and the workshop. What really comes through in the shop is that Rob loves cycling and cyclists, simple as that. He’s great at what he does, and has helped me out of more than a handful of scrapes in my few short years in cycl
It’s cafe opening day @chilternvelo cafe and I just had to get out on my bike to visit on what is a gorgeous, cold but sunning and clear day. So I’ve driven down to Wing from Northampton and I’m on a 100km loop down through all the amazing Chiltern lanes with a fair bit of climbing to keep me warm.
Fantastic cycling cafe with ample bike racks, indoor and outdoor seating, a cosy vibe, friendly staff and great drinks and cakes. Always glad to drop by on a ride!
Popped in to the cafe after walking my dog on Hawridge Common. Excellent coffee with bacon and egg roll 😋 I was lucky enough to try out the new range of ice creams. Highly recommend the creamy blackcurrant flavour 💕👍
Cafe good with plenty of seating outside especially suitable for cyclists. Didn't accept credit card due to technical issues last time I visited.
Lovely bacon and egg roll, good coffee and very nice staff. Happy for dogs to be in cafe. Will definitely be going back
Beautiful location, a brilliant stop off for any cyclist, hiker or dog walker. Food is brilliant and good service even during busy periods. The repair shop is brilliant, I've had a few issues with my bike and they've done a top job for a good and fair price. Couldn't recommend them enough.
The staff could not have been more lovely. The Bacon and Egg Sandwich was so delicious I came back the next morning and had it again. There's non-dairy milk options and a variety of pastries. The atmosphere is beautiful and it's got an outdoor sitting area with tons of nature. 10/10.
Dropped my bike in one day and it was ready the next. I was unable to pick it up but Rob was happy to hold it over for collection the following day. Kept me informed on what needed to be done and in collection everything worked perfectly. Great service and interpersonal as well. Very nice coffee in
Lovely setup. Coffee and cake was brilliant. Staff was very helpful. Enough place for bikes. Would recommend whether you cycle or not. Goat cheese sandwich is a must try.
We've visited this cafe several times since it opened so, obviously, we like it. The coffee is well made and the range of cakes is good. There's lots of space to park your bike. There are plenty of tables inside and outside. Service is quick at the till. They bring your order to the table which can
Peaceful countryside setting. Nice lunch. Toasty cake, coffee and water. Friendly and welcoming. Accessible too.
